Very comfortable and the location is perfect for boating!!! All the conviences of home and then some....lake view, beautiful sunsets, birds chirping every morning and the cottage is a hidden gem. Had an awsome month!
The best part was we could relax right outside our cozygreat room vaulted ceiling on the comfy deck any hour of the day or evening and there were no other neighbors screaming like hyenas just for fun around the area
It was perfect for my husband, dog and me while visiting family and friends in the area. Convenient location with a gorgeous view of the lake. Easy lake access. All the necessary comforts of home. Definitely our preferred choice for future visits.

What beautiful comments! It was our pleasure to serve you on your Lake Norman vacation. We cannot thank you enough for taking care of the house. You left it in pristine condition-- like no one stayed there at all! Hope to see you back soon.
Beautiful location. We were in the home for a month and it had everything we needed to stay comfortably. Communication was quick if we needed anything.
everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Tranquil cove with beautiful views. Spent hours sitting on the gazebo and our dogs loved swimming off the dock. Super cute decor and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure
We had such a great time. The kids loved being in the lake swimming all day. The water was so warm. The cottage was so cozy and had such a beautiful view of the lake. The owners were wonderful and so accommodating.
We can't wait to come back.
Additional lighting and address marker needed so you can find it more easily - not marked and impossible to find without help from owner if you’re traveling after dark.
This cottage was the perfect location for the four of us to stay. It was very peaceful and the perfect place to explore Lake Norman with our boat. Alicia and Jeff were very helpful and accommodating. We strongly recommend it and hope to come back again!
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage. It was clean and perfect for my husband and 2 dogs. Worked out great for us to launch our kayaks and entry for the dogs to swim (their favorite activity). We enjoyed coffee in the gazebo each morning and watching the sunsets in the evening. Alicia was a great host and answered any questions we had. Thanks for a great vacation!
We loved how the cottage was decorated. Only complaint is, I would have liked a TV in the bedroom. I have a bad habit off falling asleep to a TV and like to get in bed early and watch.
This piece of property is a little slice of heaven on earth. We had the privilege of being able to keep our boat right on the property. They even had a launch for it! Our dogs loved swimming right in front of the property and then getting on our boat and luxuriously seeing a big chunk of beautiful Lake Norman! Best trip ever! A big Thank you to these amazing property owners!!
One week at this lovely lake cottage was not long enough—we will be returning for a longer stay! The cottage was cozy, comfortable and inviting. Lots of places to sit, inside and outside, to enjoy the view. Cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed. The gazebo was perfect for sunset watching. We were able to bring our dog, which made the trip perfect. My husband caught lots of fish, providing several delicious meals throughout the week. Thank you Alicia and Jeff!
This is an adorable little cottage with all that you need for a peaceful week at the lake. We took full advantage of the kayaks, the paddle boat, and the canoe. We just wish we had stayed longer. We only stayed five days, and it went very quick, but would love to stay longer next time. The view from the loft bedroom is amazing in the morning. The only downfall to the vacation was that we had to drive so far to the restaurants that we wanted to visit but the peaceful atmosphere made up for that. Nothing better than coffee on that deck in the morning .
We really enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage. All essentials are provided and everything is neat and clean. I was fishing a 3 day bass tournament and my wife, daughter, and granddaughter spent the weekend. On Saturday a friend joined us with his son for the day and the two kids really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock. The owners were nice to let me use their boat ramp and also leave my truck and boat trailer there after check out until I finished my tournament.
Highly recommend...
The property is right on the lake. It is a small space with a private bedroom and a loft with a bed. The kitchen is complete but very compact. It has the basics for cooking. No extras. The bathroom has a tub/shower and holds the full sized stacked washer dryer. Everything is clean and neat, but small. The surrounding yard is large enough for pets to walk around.

My wife had booked this property for Fathers day. The cottage was nice but the amenities fell short. The paddle boat was leaning against a tree and filthy. The boat ramp concrete was broken in the water and I was unable to launch my boat that I traveled four hours with. The boat dock was nice except there was a boat tied up and the owner of the boat would show up unannounced. Lets just say the condition was not what the description portrayed. We will not be back.

This guest and his wife stayed at our guest cottage for 3 nights. Many of our guests, before and after their stay, even those who bring small jet ski trailers find no issue using our private launch. There is a public ramp within a few miles if he needed something more robust, which I recommended. I even offered to drive the trailer back if that would make it easier on him but he refused help. We clean all the boats (2 paddle boats, 2 canoes, and 4 Kayaks) in the spring. They will be flipped over or leaning on a tree to keep water from rain pooling in them. There is a water hose close by to spray them off if they have dirt splattered on them from rain. I do apologize for the neighbor dropping by. That was a new boat and he was checking on it way too often.
In the end, this guest’s time on the lake was obviously disappointing— and resulted on undesirable comments — taking it on a pedal boat and the property owner’s boat docked on the property.
This is a great place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. We stayed here with a family of five which included three teenagers. The cottage had all we needed to enjoy the week (but to be candid, we did not spend too much time inside other than to make food and sleep since we were always out enjoying the lake all week). We brought our wakeboat to use on the lake and it is a great area of the lake to be on for that. The cove and lake are perfect for all your watersport interests! The cove is great as it is a no wake zone and since you are at the end of it there is little to no traffic. The dock is very nice and its depth is great to easily dock your boat and not worry about damaging your prop. The dock is also simply great to hang out on and spend the day playing right in the cove with kayaks, paddle boards or a paddle boat. This home's proximity to the state park is great. You can jet over to the state park by boat or by car (approximately a ten minute drive by either method). I highly recommend visiting rope swing cove too! There is a gas station close by to fill up gas cans and a place to fill up on the lake isn't too far away either. I also highly recommend booking this place due to how great the host was with communication. Alicia responds quickly to all questions and provides very clear instructions to settle in and check out. It was a great experience from booking to arrival and check out!
