Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Pictures of this rental don’t tell the story. The property was poorly maintained, though the interior had been recently renovated and pictures were beautiful. Exposed wires from the ceiling from a missing light and many other issues like internet that randomly and quite often would disconnect. Overgrown weeds in the yard and construction demolition in the car port and yard. When there was any issue, the owner would show up unannounced and was quite confrontational when I shared I wasn’t getting the value I had thought I would get for an over 1700 stay for the three nights we stayed. He did drop the price some but the unannounced visits were just plain weird to be honest. Also, when I asked through text for a late checkout, he responded it was impossible as the cleaners were on their way to clean for the next guest. That was a very strange response because as we still had another night. He then visited again right after that text telling us the cleaners were on their way asking if there was a problem with us leaving. I had to inform him we were there for one more night. He was like “Oh, okay.” Overall a very bad experience though he did lend me a drill to make a luggage repair.
