This is a great location! The house is large and spacious with a nice kitchen. The large view windows were in need of widow-washing, some of the cookware needed to be scrubbed before using, and there was some rot in the wood surrounding of one of the showers. Most disappointing was that the twin beds were uncomfortable and squeaky...probably ok for kids, but we were a group of 5 adults on a getaway. Difficult for everyone to get a good night's sleep.

This was a terrible place. We could not use the hot tub as there were no stairs to get in it. There was only a glass top table next to it. The blinds were split so there was no way to lower them to keep the heat and sun out. The water and sewage went straight on the ground. This place was not ready to be rented. All the siding was not on the house so one closet in the master bedroom was so cold and light could be seen through the slates. The deck had been removed and not replaced and the back step was not attched to anything and did not meet code. It wobbled when stepped on. The windows had leaked gas between the panes so it was not a great view of the ocean. There was dirt under the cushions. We would not recommend this place to anyone! Camping would have been better.

The concerns you've described, from the hot tub accessibility and the blinds to the unattached step and the siding gaps, are serious, and I understand why the stay felt far below what you were expecting. I want to be honest with you: our records and our team's assessment of the home do not align with several of the conditions you've described, and we did not receive any reports during your stay that would have given us the chance to respond in the moment. That said, I am not going to dismiss what you've written. A guest who felt unsafe or uncomfortable deserved better communication before and during the stay. We are reviewing each point you raised to address any opportunities to make future guests stays more comfortable. We're sorry your family's experience fell so short of what it should have been, and we're grateful you told us directly.
