I have rented many properties over the years and have never needed to leave a review like this one. I’ll keep it brief and factual. The listing advertised a 3-bedroom house. Upon arrival, we discovered it was actually a 6-bedroom home split into three separate rental units, with ours in the middle. After parking in the garage as instructed, we found the garage refrigerator full of spoiled food and unwanted substances. For our 6-night stay with a family of 4, we were provided zero paper towels, only two rolls of toilet paper, and two trash bags.The bunk bed room had its closet doors removed, no clothing rod, multiple hammer holes in the drywall, gaps where baseboards should be (with black dry rot material), and painter’s tape still stuck to the light fixtures. The unit had almost no sound insulation. We could clearly hear every toilet flush, shower, and footstep from the upstairs unit, including the tenant pacing until 1 AM.I documented everything with photos and contacted the host after our second sleepless night. We sent audio evidence of the noise but still had to endure three sleepless nights with three different tenants before leaving early and finding other accommodations.
