Unit was as advertised. Host communicated several times and answered all questions and made suggestions for meals and entertainment. All kitchen appliances and washer dryer were brand new. New outside gas grill if you want to do some cooking and nice outside fire pit for enjoying cool evenings with an adult beverage. If you are thinking about a fire you should bring some fire starting supplies. This is not a negative comment but there are a lot of stair steps to navigate so if you have a bum knee just be prepared. Unit is in the countryside but restaurants are nearby and food is good. The silence is deafening. Would rent again if given the opportunity. Unit stocked with games, activities for children even though we didn’t have any with us this time.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
I am thrilled you had a great stay and that everything met your expectations. There should be kindling in the basement, but I can provide fire starters and there should be a lighter at the entrance of the basement. Also, thanks for mentioning the stairs; that’s helpful for anyone planning their trip with mobility issues. If you ever decide to come back, I would love to welcome you again.
This lovely house overlooking a picturesque cove was a perfect base for our weeklong vacation. The house was spotless. The kitchen was exceptionally well provisioned, and it was clear that guests' comfort and enjoyment of the property had been thoughtfully planned. A grill on the porch and a fire pit on the sizeable lawn added to cooking options, and a relaxing space to enjoy s'mores. There were toys, games, and books for children, as well as current novels for adults. The yard, surrounded by trees and flowers, suggested an escape to a private world, yet shopping, local sites, and adventures were an easy car or bike ride from the property. Liliana was a gracious host and responsive to all questions. Like all wonderful vacations, it was hard to leave.

Our family fell in love with this part of Maine over 30 years ago. We purchased Bella Vista with the hope of creating a place where our children — and future generations — could experience the same coastal magic that captured our hearts: the peaceful pace of life, the rugged shoreline, fresh seafood, wooded trails, friendly general stores, and the small‑town charm that makes this peninsula so unique. We hope Bella Vista brings you those same moments of connection, relaxation, and joy.
