I wish VRBO would allow You to communicate by phone after the reservation. You will love the row homes and feel of the neighborhood. Walkable to the pier. Wonderful butcher shop deli on the block with small grocery store a block away.

As a lifelong Washingtonian with deep roots in Georgetown, I have always appreciated the neighborhood's rich history, strong sense of community, and beautiful surroundings. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring local parks and the waterfront, supporting community initiatives, and experiencing the unique charm of Georgetown's historic streets. My family has called this neighborhood home for generations, and I love sharing the warmth, character, and welcoming atmosphere that make Georgetown such a special place to live and visit.

Why they chose this property

I chose Georgetown because it has been my family's home for generations. My family originally settled here to be close to our church, extended family, and the strong sense of community that has long defined the neighborhood. Over the years, Georgetown has remained a place where neighbors know one another, traditions are valued, and the beauty of the area can be enjoyed every day.

The neighborhood is known for its historic architecture, charming tree-lined streets, and beautiful parks. I especially enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, whether it's taking a walk through Rose Park, enjoying the nearby waterfront, or simply admiring the historic row homes that give Georgetown its unique character. Despite being in the heart of Washington, DC, the neighborhood feels welcoming and residential, offering a perfect balance between city living and a close-knit community.

What I appreciate most is that Georgetown provides easy access to restaurants, shops, cultural attractions, and public transportation while still maintaining the warmth and charm of a neighborhood where families have deep roots and lasting connections. It is a special place that combines history, beauty, and community in a way that is difficult to find elsewhere.
