Get away to crisp mountain air and sounds of the Fraser River right outside when you make Modern High Country Haus your home away from home. With modern touches throughout, a spacious layout for the whole family to enjoy, and a private balcony, everyone will slip right into vacation mode in no time. When everyone wants to head out for a bit of fun close to home, three hot tubs (two indoor and one outdoor), men's and women's locker rooms, WiFi, lounge/game room with smart TV, fireplace and pool table, children's center, fitness center, coin-op laundry room, sun deck, covered picnic pavilion, horseshoes, volleyball, and playground await on-site! Plus, two balconies await for enjoying morning cups of coffee and evening glasses of wine. When it is time to settle down, the chef of the group can whip up tasty meals in the full kitchen as the rest of the gang cuddles up next to the gas fireplace with a movie playing on the large TV. With kids or without, this will be a perfect retreat from the city.

Visiting in winter? Head on over to Winter Park Resort and shred fresh powder to your heart's content just three miles from home base. Summer months will be just as fun, so grab your hiking boots or mountain bike and head to endless trails accessible right behind the home. The lift stop (local bus) is directly outside as well for quick and easy transport to all of the best attractions! Not to mention, this getaway is located right off Main Street, so bars, restaurants, and grocery are all within minutes' walk! And a new clubhouse with billiards, locker rooms, an indoor pool, and three hot tubs will be just the ticket for family fun.

We stayed for a few nights in August. This is a great location for enjoying Winter Park and the area around Winter Park during the warmer months. Easy access to local trails, and some restaurants are walkable from there too. The unit was updated fairly recently but it still has some characteristics of an older building. It was comfortable for working since we had to work, and for leisure too. It was nice to have the balcony, especially in the evenings when the sun isn't directly on it. I enjoyed the uncrowded pool and hot tub at the rec center, which is about a 6 minute walk away. We walked along the river each evening and on the last day we stopped there one last time and saw a bull moose on the other side!

Excellent location with the Lyft shuttle stop right outside the property. Nicely stocked kitchen. Plenty of linens, towels, and board games. Drawback was the rec center - the hot tub outside was gross and one inside was only ok.

Had a great time with friends and family at our stay in winter park. Great location close to ski resort and by many local restaurants. Place was clean and ready for us on check in day. Cozy rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in winter park
