This beautiful two-bedroom apartment awaits you in the castle village of Hohenschwangau—one of the most visited places in the world. The house is located right at the foot of the Schlossberg, and the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle towers above the terrace. Take in the view of the surrounding mountains. The Alpsee and Schwansee lakes, as well as the “bustle” surrounding the castles, are within walking distance. The apartment features a bedroom, a living room with a cosy sofa area, a spacious kitchen with a bar table where you can enjoy your morning coffee, and a bathroom with natural light. There’s no better way to wind down your holiday days than on the terrace with a glass of wine and a view of the Ammergau Alps. Hohenschwangau is an ideal starting point for hikes—for example, to Bleckenau or King Ludwig’s hunting lodge—and mountain bike tours. On cold days, a visit to the Kristalltherme in Schwangau is highly recommended; among other benefits, admission is free once a week with the Königscard (currently EUR 18). Culturally, you shouldn’t miss not only the royal castles but also the Museum of the Bavarian Kings in Hohenschwangau. Parking space number 3 is included with the apartment and is free of charge for our guests. A separate bike garage is available for your bicycles. Your four-legged friends are also welcome in this apartment.
