Located in the heart of Wenningstedt, this retreat offers the perfect combination of relaxation and the island lifestyle—ideal for an unforgettable holiday on Sylt!<br><br><br>Website:<br><br> Welcome to the historic Witthüs with its thatched roof—a unique residence that combines Sylt’s traditional thatched-roof architecture with modern comforts. This charming property, once a popular gathering place for artists in the 1970s, was built in 1913 and lovingly converted into an apartment building in 1995. Today, it houses nineteen cosy holiday apartments. Four of these are rented out through us; ranging from 40 m² to 65 m², they accommodate 2 to 4 guests, and some even welcome pets. Each apartment has its own parking space.<br><br>The Witthüs is centrally located in Wenningstedt, allowing you to fully savour the island experience. The beach is a 10–12-minute walk away, and Feinkost Meyer, which includes a bakery, is right nearby, so you can enjoy fresh rolls in the morning. <br>Immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of the Witthüs and enjoy the unique charm of this thatched-roof house—a place where tradition and modernity blend harmoniously, making it the ideal retreat for dog lovers, families, and couples.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt braucht. Einzig ein paar kleine Schrammen hier und da (normale Abnutzung bei Ferienvermietung) kann man als negativ anführen, aber nur, wenn man sich sehr pingelig zeigt. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Obere Etage (zweites Schlafzimmer) nur durch eine sehr, sehr steile Treppe (nicht Kleinkindtauglich) zu erreichen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Einziges Manko ist tatsächlich die steile Treppe ins 2. Schlafzimmer. Hier muss man sich besonders beim Runtergehen gut festhalten. Nichts für ältere Leute.

Wir hatten eine tolle Urlaubswoche im WITTHÜS. Das Grundstück ist zwar in unmittelbaren Nähe eines Kreisverkehr gelegen, jedoch sehr gut durch Heckenbepflanzung gegen Lärm geschützt. Man kann wegen der zentralen Lage super Ausflüge in alle Inselrichtungen vornehmen. Braderuper Heide zum Sonnenaufgang, Uwe-Düne und Kampen am Tag und zum Sonnenuntergang zu Gosch nach Wenningstedt, mit dem Fahrrad oder auch zu Fuß, alles kein Problem.
