The Meermuschel holiday rental is a cosy ground-floor apartment with a terrace, grill, and private garden.

It sleeps 1–4 people and features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The bedroom with the two single beds can also be converted into a bedroom with just one single bed. This creates enough space to set up a baby cot. We can provide this for you free of charge, along with a high chair. Please feel free to ask us about this after booking.

The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a dining table for 4 people, and the living room features a TV and several board games for entertainment. Outside, in the private garden, there is a grill, a covered patio, and a sandpit.

The property consists of 2 houses with 3 living units. They were completely renovated and newly furnished in 2020.

The house and the apartments can be rented separately or together, allowing for a total occupancy of up to 14 people.

On the 700 m² property, there are 2 lovingly and recently renovated holiday homes that can be used and rented both separately and together. This makes it possible to travel with a group of up to 14 people or as few as 2. They are divided into 3 living units, which are laid out as follows:

The rear house is our Seewind holiday home: for 1–6 people

3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

The front house is divided into two apartments

The lower apartment is our “Meermuschel” holiday rental: for 1–4 people

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

The upper apartment is called the “Nordmöve” holiday rental: for 1–4 people

1 bedroom, + sleeping space in the living room, 1 bathroom

The houses are not far from the dike (approx. 800 m) and the North Sea lagoon, which offers great beach fun during the summer months. The holiday town of Burhave is small but still has a lot to offer. In addition to the North Sea lagoon, there’s a swimming beach with green spaces and colourful beach chairs, as well as a dog beach with dog showers. There are also numerous bike paths, an indoor swimming pool, bakeries, delicious restaurants and cafés, and, of course, shopping options.

For children of all ages, there’s the Spielscheune, located just a few minutes’ walk from our holiday homes.

A bike rental shop, restaurants, Mama’s Allee Café, and a bus stop are also right outside the door.

Not far away is the El Mundo water park—Centre Park—and Bremerhaven has plenty more to offer besides the Klimahaus. Even the ferry ride alone is an experience.

Each unit has its own garden, grill, and parking space, and guests receive a key to the garage, where they can safely store their own bicycles or toys. The garage also houses the laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer, which can be used by all guests.

The Seewind holiday home and the Meermuschel holiday apartment have a sandpit in the garden.

The terraces of these two units are well-lit and have a roof.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. If you’d like to bring more than one pet, we charge €40 per pet. Please specify the number of pets when making your booking request. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per unit.

Towels and bed linens are included in the price.

However, the municipality of Butjadigen charges a visitor’s tax, which we collect and forward directly. You will receive a separate invoice for this if you do not book directly through us.

After you make your reservation, we will contact you. We need your address for the rental agreement and the ages of any children (if applicable) to calculate the tourist tax.
