This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath waterfront camp sits directly on the shores of Sand Pond, a quiet 61 acres of spring fed gem, known for its tranquil setting perfect for swimming, paddling and unwinding. With a private dock, kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, hammock by the water and a firepit under the tall pines and stars. The kind of place families return to year after year.

Beautifully kept property with all the bells and whistles. We had the most amazing time here. Made wonderful memories with my two grandsons, children and husband. We also lucked out with beautiful weather during our stay that made it that much more perfect.

Looking for a peaceful retreat on a quiet Maine pond? This is the place. This home had plenty of space with a fully stocked kitchen. Our teens enjoyed the supplied paddleboard and kayaks - you can get around the pond quite easily. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons immensely. Plus we made a couple visits to "blueberry point" to taste what remained of some wild berries. Nightly campfires were customary and we were able to catch a large bass at dusk off the end of the dock (this late in the season, toss some stuff they haven't seen before - I used trout flies). Nearby is a short hike to Steep Falls on the Saco river. About 20 mins away is Douglas Mtn with a sweet lookout tower on the summit after a short but steep climb that will get your heart pumping. Full fledged grocery stores are about 20 mins away in a few directions, so plan ahead. Lois was a wonderful and thoughtful host, great communication and quite hospitable. We loved our stay 100% and you will too.
