I am a retired educator from Nevada. I grew up in the desert around Reno and love and appreciate the beautiful, unique environment of the desert. I love the tucson area for the cultural, historical heritage, excellent state and National parks, amazing restaurants, gorgeous variety of cacti, wildlife and outstanding hiking, biking and walking trails. Views of the Santa Catalina mountains are breathtaking especially at sunset. I feel blessed being able to live in this area and love exploring all the area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

I choose this neighborhood because it is rural, quiet, and has beautiful views of the Santa Catalina mountains. The serene setting helps me relax and rejuvenate. Although it is rural it is about 6 miles from Oro Valley where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and other amenities. It less than 20 minutes from the city limits of Tucson and short distances from outdoor recreation areas, museums and historical/cultural points of interest.

What makes this property unique

My property is unique because it is rural and allows a person to unwind in a serene, relaxing setting after a long day of work, play or exploration. It is a custom house and not in a complex or in a house tract. All properties are a minimum of an acre so the neighbors aren’t crowding each other. The property is 2 miles from the city of Catalina, a short drive to Oro valley, Tucson and surrounding points of interest.
