About this property

Blū House.

Blū House — A Cozy, 1BR, 2-Bed, 420‑Friendly, Pet‑Friendly Retreat Overlooking East Bay

Blū House is a welcoming, adults‑only (21+), 420‑friendly, pet‑friendly, NOT CHILD-PROOF (we discourage from booking with children in your party) hideaway designed for relaxation, comfort, and connection. With room for up to five adult guests, this 2BR sanctuary overlooks beautiful East Bay, where sunsets glow, breezes roll in, and stories unfold. Step directly onto the TART Trail, explore award‑winning vineyards, and return to a peaceful garden retreat complete with thoughtful touches — including a complimentary bottle of local wine.

Rooted in cherry‑farming heritage and canine companionship, our home invites you to rest, savor, and return.

🏡 The Space

Your private ground‑floor apartment offers 700 sq. ft. of cozy comfort with:

Two private entrances

Two dedicated parking spaces

A fully fenced garden area out front (plus new gas firepit)

A shaded, gated back patio (“the veranda”) perfect for hot days

Our own home (900 sq. ft.) is attached but fully separated by a double- locked kitchen door, separate entrances, and separate parking — giving you complete privacy while ensuring someone is nearby if you need anything.

We share our property with five friendly dogs (two corgis, a mini‑dachshund, a rat terrier mix, and a goofy Bernese Mountain Dog) and one extremely shy cat you’ll likely never see. They remain fully fenced on our side, though you may hear occasional barking. One of us is always home to keep things quiet and they do settle down after initial greetings.

We now welcome guest pets as long as they are leashed and supervised. Your garden space is fully fenced, so your pets can safely enjoy the outdoors with you.

🌿 Guest Access

You’ll have access to:

Two ground‑floor entrances — one from the back parking area, one through the front slider into your private gated garden

Front garden patio with high stools for the best East Bay views

Back patio (“the veranda”) for shade, quiet, and relaxation

Future upgrades including an outdoor shower and expanded greenhouse space — we’re always improving!

Feel free to enjoy both your garden and patio spaces. When the sun gets intense, the veranda offers a cool escape. We welcome garden tours on our side of the property as we are Master Gardeners and love to show off our hard work!

🌅 Other Things to Note

Blū House has no immediate neighbors and sits directly on Five Mile Rd. Traffic moves quickly, so please use caution when pulling out. This is why we discourage young children here as we want everyone to be safe. We also overlook busy US31N below; summer can bring some noise, but our years of intentional landscaping have created a natural sound buffer. Evenings are especially peaceful — perfect for sitting outside and watching the world go by.

You now have access to:

A new modern gas firepit (not for roasting marshmallows — just for ambiance)

Additional garden spaces on our side if you’d like to stroll or explore

We’re 5th‑generation cherry farmers, used to visitors and happy to chat. Like our dogs, we don’t bite — come say hello if you feel like it.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
