The Little Brick Cottage is in a great location, just minutes off I-81, close to Roanoke, Salem, Carvins Cove, and the Appalachian Trail. We offer a large but cozy space for you and your loved ones. The home is 8.5 miles from downtown Roanoke; 2 miles from the Appalachian Trail; 4 miles from Carvins Cove; 7 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway; and 18 miles from Buchanan with access to the James River.
Reconnect and relax with your loved ones in this charming home. Return to this home after you visit restaurants, breweries, wineries or a day of hiking. Go on one of many of hikes, absorb the mountain views and so much more. Cook in the full kitchen, relax on our cozy couch, chairs and comfortable beds. The Master Suite has 1 King bed. A second bedroom has a Queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen is fully prepared for all your cooking needs. We try to provide some basic spices and cooking essentials as well as coffee. You don't need to travel any winding, country roads from our house as it is located on a main thoroughfare.
Please note this home is not in a neighborhood but the road behind the home leads to a neighborhood that is suitable for walking or jogging.
We provide several rolls of toilet paper and the first roll of paper towels for your stay in addition to a few loads worth of dish and laundry detergent. For stays longer than 2 nights, please plan on providing more of these as needed.
Laundry is available in the pantry. Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the basement.
Dogs are allowed but there is a $50 charge per dog. The maximum we will charge no matter the length of your stay is a $50 fee. Dogs cannot be left home alone unless they are crated.
