Family-friendly vacation apartment (53 m²) with indoor pool and sauna in the building

Nestled in the heart of the Bavarian Forest on the 800-meter-high Geyersberg, our completely renovated, lovingly furnished, and family-friendly holiday apartment awaits you, offering a stunning view to the south. Fortunately, the 2023 State Garden Show was right next door, so you can now enjoy a beautiful walk around the entire grounds. For sleeping, you’ll find a 180x200 double bed, a 90x200 bunk bed, a travel cot, and a sleeper sofa in the living room with a fold-out 140x200 mattress. We have a play area with a children’s table, toys, a high chair, children’s tableware, and a stroller. For cosy TV or Netflix evenings (please log in with your own credentials), there’s a flat-screen TV on the wall, as well as board games. We also offer a fully equipped kitchen with a filter coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, small oven, dishwasher, and stove. Optionally, you can also have breakfast (buffet) at the Geyerei restaurant (located right in the building) or go out for a meal (reservation required). Laundry service is available for 6 EUR. Free parking is available on the property. If there aren’t enough spaces available, there’s an alternative: the new car park 150 m away, equipped with electric charging stations (affordable daily rates). With the Freyung guest card, you can use public transport routes within the Bayerwald Ticket fare zone free of charge. In addition to the Waldbahn and the “Igelbus” shuttles to and within the national park, this includes other public transit routes in the Freyung-Grafenau and Regen districts, as well as parts of Cham, and the “Freyfahrt” service in Freyung. Bicycles can be stored free of charge in the holiday complex’s underground car park; charging stations for e-bikes are available there, as well as city centre near the church and city hall. Bicycles can be rented at Fahrrad Seibold. Welcome to the website for our two family-friendly “Bayerischer Wald” holiday apartments, privately rented. You’ll find them right in the middle of a holiday complex and directly next to the former State Garden Show grounds. The “Ferienpark Geyersberg” is located above the town of Freyung, offering a stunning view of the low-mountain landscape of the Bavarian Forest. Both apartments in the building offer direct access (via the basement) to the pool, sauna, wellness centre with massage studio, and the “Geyerei” restaurant with its beautiful view. Next to the building, a new, huge playground and adventure park has been built; you can hike right from the building, or explore the beautiful area by bike, e-bike, or mountain bike. Ski and tobogganing areas are in the immediate vicinity: the Solla ski tow is 3 minutes away; Mitterdorf is 20 minutes away. An indoor billiards, foosball, and darts room is right across the street. A mountain glassworks with a demonstration furnace is about 100 metres away. The town centre of Freyung, 1.5 km away, is accessible by a free shuttle bus. We have a newly renovated apartment, “H180,” measuring 53 square metres, featuring a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, as well as a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. In the same building, you’ll also find the slightly smaller and more affordable “F123” apartment (47 square metres), which features a bunk bed in a separate room (without a window) and, in the living-bedroom, two fold-out wall beds and a sofa bed. You’re also welcome to enquire about a long-term rental with a discount. My sister and I have been coming here regularly since we were children, and we still enjoy the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Forest with our families and friends. That’s why it’s especially important to us that families feel at home in our holiday rental. We’ve arranged everything so that you can have a wonderful time with us, and we always welcome your feedback. Pets are not allowed. A cot can be provided upon request for a fee of 10 EUR per stay.
