About the host
Hosted by Sarah Barr
I was born and raised in Maine and now live in Portland. I love Maine with my whole heart, and wanted to open a VRBO to share the Maine experience with others.
Why they chose this property
I chose to live in Portland because I can have my "perfect day" everyday. My typical summer weekend looks like: morning coffee at a local cafe, Portland farmer's market, beach or boat day, walk down to the Old Port to meet friends for dinner, and then watch the sunset over the water on the Eastern Prom.
What makes this property unique
My house is a renovated, historic home built in 1880. With water views from the living room, and amenities such as beach towels, chairs, and coolers, you will have everything you need to have a fun and memorable stay.
Start your morning by strolling to get coffee and pastries, walk into the Old Port to explore the shops, relax at East End Beach in the afternoon. End your day sipping a cocktail on the patio surrounded by blooming perennials and walk to a nearby seafood restaurant for dinner. I would love to offer you personalized recommendations on activities and restaurants!
