Ask a questionAbout Steve Beckerdite
Steve and Debbie both are pharmacists. Steve was brought up in Ft. Smith, AR and Debbie is from Monroe, LA. Both now live in Fayetteville, AR which is about 45 minutes from the lake house. Because we live so close we are very attentive to the house. We have been renting our house for 16 years and we know you won't return if you are not treated well. We have many repeat guests each year. We love outdoor activities and family life. Our grandson who is 8 really enjoys the lake house. What a "nature" education for him!
Steve Beckerdite purchased this House in 2001
Why Steve Beckerdite chose Lost Bridge Village
After spending many vacations on Beaver Lake we decided to buy this house in 2001 as a weekend get-away and as a vacation rental unit. We looked at many houses in Lost Bridge Village subdivision before we bought. What sold us on this house was the quality. We did not see houses with cedar wood and real Ozark stone as this one does. The construction is very well done by one of the best contractors in our area and you can feel it throughout the house. The walk to the water from the house is very gentle. Even the elderly can usually handle it. We have a fish cleaning table at the water's edge. There is a charcoal grill and we have decided that the real charcoal rather than propane makes the food taste much better. There is always something to entertain you on Beaver. Walking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, water sports, sailing, relaxing, relaxing, relaxing, etc.
What makes this House unique
Because our house has Ozark stone fireplaces, you can use it year round. The house has modern amenities; yet, it has a wonderful 'cabin' feel to it. The cedar accents throughout add a warm, cozy feeling to the rooms. There is plenty of glass to take advantage of the views from all sides. Even the living room has a sky light. Beautiful mountain lake with crystal clear waters for whatever your boating/fishing/swimming/sailing activities. This north end of Beaver Lake is the clearest part. The scuba diving club meets on this end because of that. Beaver is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful lakes we've ever seen. The water stays so deep blue green and clear. Whitney Mt makes the cliff views just awesome for picture taking. Make sure you tour Whitney Mt Chapel and the grounds at the top where the club house is. If you are looking for a site for a wedding you can't go wrong here year round! Our house has been used many times for a base house of stay for weddings and reunions. Be on the lookout for wildlife because there are lots. The openness of this house makes it very relaxing. We love eating on the deck because of the lake view. As soon as we hit the deck, we feel the stress just melt away! Just love it!
