House: traditional old style, very spacious, decent kitchen equipment & reasonably clean. Outside grounds were depressing, nothing to make it look attractive. Bit of a dumping ground, random stuff lying around. Old really grubby stained sun loungers, Useless parasol. Box of broken old toys for the kids, swimming Pool was a good size- pingpong table with broken balls- had to request more. Bbq area, poor lighting so night time bbqs were tricky/ impossible. Horrendous check in check out experience. Manuela was so rude & unwelcoming- at first we found it almost amusing, but at check out it felt like we worked for her as she ordered us to clean everything to a ridiculous standard, threatening not to return our deposit! I wish I had taken photos, I totally respect leaving a place tidy and to a certain standard but we are not cleaners, felt like she wanted us to actually clean for the next booking. She queried why there was ash on floor near bbq, (wind blew it)my 80 yr old mother in law swept it up. I have rented many villas, never had an issue . It was her manner more than anything - totally disrespectful & not like we were paying customers who had spent a lot of money to be there - really left a bad feeling on the whole holiday- such a shame to end it this way. I am going to formally complain. She has no customer service skills whatsoever and I note some similar reviews about her on other websites Note: This home is managed by an agency so no comms gets sent via Vrbo.

Better than expected.

We were overwhelmed with the property and we had really good time in the villa. Pictures don't do the justice of this place, much bigger than we expected. It's not for modern design enthusiasts but the house have real character. We will definitely come back and will recommend it to anyone.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis met van alles in de regio

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze vakantiewoning. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, een fijn huis die wij hebben ervaren als èèn met een prettige ligging, heerlijk rustig! Het huis is sfeervol en voelt huiselijk. Dat vonden wij erg prettig.

Endroit parfaitement placé pour visiter le sud du Portugal La location est top !!!

Agréable séjour dans une maison spacieuse, avons apprécié plus particulièrement la salle avec ping pong et billard, et d'avoir plusieurs salles de bains et WC. Endroit calme. Je recommande la petite boulangerie ouverte 24h/24h, bon pain, pasteis de nata... Agréable accueil de la jeune fille qui nous apprend quelques mots en portugais. Piscine un peu froide en septembre, peut être prévoir une bâche...plus protection enfants...

Nos hospedamos 4 personas, la casa es enorme y nos sobraba bastante espacio. Todo estaba muy limpio y los anfitriones fueron muy amables en todo momento. La casa es ideal para estar en una zona tranquila, ya que en la casa dispones de todo tipo de lujos

Foi uma experiência fantástica, é verdadeiramente o monte da calma. O espaço corresponde à descrição disponibilizada no site. Espaço ideal para quem quiser passar uns dias em família ou simplesmente relaxar. Tem todas as condições necessárias e nas redondezas existem locais de aquisição de bens essenciais para o dia a dia. É sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir.

Gostámos de tudo, da localização, da casa, da simpatia de quem nos recebeu... A casa era ótima, com bastante espaço para todos, sem haver atropelos (cada "geração" faz o que bem lhe apetece...). Estava tudo impecavelmente limpo. A repetir!

Maison agréable

Maison agréable propre, un personnel accueillant à l'écoute Toutefois, des défauts à corriger pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable : Pas de climatisation (juste des ventilateurs qui ne suffisent pas) des serrures de portes de chambres et de salle de bains cassées un frigo qui devait être remplacé il y a de cela deux ans et toujours pas fait un équipement extérieur pour repas insuffisant un nettoyage d'une fois pour les 15 jours n'est pas suffisant non plus

Merci pour votre retour. Nos collègues sur place nous ont confirmé que les portes sont antiques et que les serrures sont utilisées de l'intérieur. Le réfrigérateur sera remplacé pour l'année 2021. Nous vous remercions d'avoir relevé ces points avec nous.

Maison très agréable et spacieuse, au calme. Propriétaire charmante malgré la barrière de la langue. Un petit bémol néanmoins pour le mobilier de jardin qui est un peu vieillissant et la table un peu petite pour une location de 8 personnes. Sinon, rien à redire. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
