Historic District Ocean Block Lbi Duplex with free tram to the beach

Top floor unit of a duplex which is three houses from the beach.

Open concept living room and kitchen area creates an open and airy feel. Covered deck directly off the living room. Enjoy outdoor dining on the deck with seating for six and a gas grill.

The Three bedrooms sleeps up to Six. One full tiled bath and shared outside shower for getting the sand off your feet when you return from the beach.

Amenities include Portable air conditioner, Washer, Dish Washer, 32' TV, Wi-Fi Internet Service, Large Deck and Outside Shower

Convenient tractor-tram helps families get to the ocean from several locations off of 6th and 7th street. Great convenience for elderly persons or young families with children Runs about every 15 minutes.
Dog Park The ball field on West 10 Street is also a Dog Park. It’s a great place for dogs to run free and play. All dog park users MUST obtain a dog park gate entry card (“Paw Pass”) & a dog park tag. The weekly fee is $10. Applications for the passes can be obtained at Borough Hall, the Beach Badge Booth (in season) or on the Borough website. Proof of rabies must be shown, either with a rabies certificate or a current dog license. Also, all dogs must be friendly & non-aggressive.

This was a wonderful location, so close to the beach-- a lovely walk through the dunes-- and the lighthouse, and very quiet. We enjoyed the spacious covered deck for eating and relaxing. Great fish market nearby, too.

We had a great stay in Barnegar Light; Dave is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The tractor tram picks you up at the dunes and drives you to the 9th Street beach about every 20 minutes, and most of the restaurants and stores in Barnegat Light are within walking distance from the house.

Great place, nice and quiet

We enjoyed our stay - usually we stay in Harvey Cedars, but we loved our week in Barnegat Light. The place was well laid out, beds were comfortable and the location was great. We would definitely stay here again (and our 2 small dogs had a great time too!).

Great Place

We needed an additional house for our family reunion and this worked out well. Clean and well provisioned for basic cooking. Good location near the end of the island. High up so good light and airy feel. Large covered porch. Flip side to that is long stairway up, so not good if one is constrained physically.

A peaceful GEM!!!

Our stay at David's place was everything I could ever want and wish from a sweet beach house vacation. The location was exceptionally sweet - the tippy top of the island, past all the busy streets, super quiet, at a dead end, with a quaint tram ride through the gorgeous dunes to get to the beach... ideal! We spent most of our time hanging out on the large covered patio/porch, feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the distant waves. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding location compared with other LBI locations

Similar but cheaper places in Surf City or farther south are in neighborhoods that are not as nice to walk or bike in. The beach is a beautiful 5 or 10 minute walk on a sandy path through the dunes; far more scenic that typical Jersey shore. Owner is conveniently downstairs, so when the grill tank ran out, I had a full one in 5 minutes. More AC would be good, during a week of exceptional humidity like we had.

great location, friendly owner but not very clean.

The location was walkable to the beach, dinner and bars. The owner was nice. However the accommodations were sparse and the carpets looked like then need a good cleaning. I remember the instructions indicated for us to bring our own linens and towels. I have rented many places and this is the first place that didn't have the basics like a bar or soap, roll of toilet paper, wash cloth, paper towel, trash bin in the rooms, pillows, etc. The rooms were hot and AC in every room would be likely essential in the peak summer months.
