We have 86" television. And new living room furniture
You have often heard in real estate its Location, Location, & Location that makes a difference. Only one out of every fourteen units at Portofino have our view, with the afternoon shade if we face west we would bake all afternoon. From our balcony on the 11 floor you are looking at Gulf of Mexico Beach where all the swimmers are and also the walkway to the beach. Many late Saturday afternoons from our balcony we become uninvited guest to a wedding on the beach. However, we never been invited to the reception. On some weekends you will be able to watch, on the roadway for a marathon or bicycle racing event. I guess you could say if you were ever a people watcher, we have the best seat in the house. On floor 11, you will will hear the perfect sound to help you sleep. Just crack the door open an inch and hear the waves of the Gulf or sit out in the balcony and hear lightly the traffic go over the brick road jn front of the resort.
Anyway come and enjoy the resort with your family or as a couple, we will be more than happy to have you.

We LOVED our stay at Don's beautiful oceanfront condo! It was very well furnished, super clean and beautiful. Talked to Don on the way down and he was super helpful. So much fun you don’t have to leave the property at all the enjoy yourself. We love it here. The employees are so helpful and nice. The room is clean and cozy. This is our 2nd year to rent form same owner and so easy to communicate with.

I have family in pensacola and fort walton so it was a perfect location. Very beautiful view and well maintained apartment. I stayed 14 days, the resort amenities are awesome. Indoor/outdoor pools, gym, etc.. the process and comunication was very easy. I will stay there again in the summer

Great Views and Amazing Amenities

Once you arrive you have everything you need. I was a little worried about staying in a high rise building but the elevators are very quick. The pools are beautiful and there are endless amenities. I do recommend buying the Amenities back, it's well worth the money particularly if you have older kids or a bunch of adults that want to Jet Ski.

Wonderful view

I like to see the sea from where I stay when I am in Florida and this unit has a wonderful view. Good easy access to the beach. Friendly resort.The beach and water are great like every place on the Emerald Coast. Liked the dunes in the State Park and the quiet spots on the beach which stretches for miles right and left. The umbrellas are expensive and the chairs on the beach not very comfortable but if you don't mind, you can buy your own umbrellas and save more the half the money you would pay otherwise. The seafood is good and fresh. Pensacola is a nice place to visit too.

Beautiful

This is the best choice we have ever made for a vacation stay. Very large 2 bedroom condo, with 2 1/2 Bathrooms, 3 tv's. The largest tv is 80+". Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. Large balcony to sit, read, or take in the beautiful views of the Gulf and the Sound. Restaruants at the poolside with plenty of activities on site for the kids. White beaches or poolside, you can't go wrong. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Simply Beautiful!

We enjoyed our week-long stay so much! There is tons to do at Portofino - tennis on clay courts, indoor pool, three outdoor pools to choose from, and the beach, of course! In addition, there are scheduled activities like laser tag and dive-in movies. Don called to be sure everything was going well. He suggested things to do locally, and places to go in Pensacola. We opted to cook our meals instead of eating out. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had everything we needed!

Portofino Resort

Location Location Location, it's true it's all about the location and Portofino is in the perfect spot between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach. Close to the best restaurants and activities for the young and young at heart. Unit 1109 was clean but is definitely showing its age and use. Bed's were comfortable. Love the balcony and the kitchen is stocked for preparing meals while you are on vacation.

Great place to relax, what a view!

My friend and I stayed at this condo in the spring. The weather was beautiful and we spent most of our vacation at the pool or on the beach. The view of The Gulf and sound is spectacular from every room! We enjoyed a massage at the on-site spa and the other amenities the resort offered top class. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the jetted tub was very relaxing in the unit also. I would definitely recommend staying again.

What a nice view and property !

We had a fantastic stay at Dons fabulous property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare fresh seafood meals . Internet speed was excellent . We will stay here again soon !!

Great view

We love Portofino and the view from this condo is very nice of the ocean. This is tower 1. Towers are set up so everyone has a great view of sound or ocean. Don was easy to book with. This unit needs some TLC. EVERYTHING is very worn. Disappointed that cleaning service can’t take extra time to wipe down light switches or doors that have stuff on them. The white vinyl/leather couch had stuff all over it and looked much better after wiping it all down with disinfecting wipes. A cleaning fee is paid so I expect it to be clean. The drapes were all so disgusting filthy no one wanted to touch them to close and open. These rentals are all the same age and unfortunately if you don’t book early the more updated units book quickly at a better weekly rate. We have been coming to this resort for about 15 years and always try different units and definitely it’s the amenities and the location that keep bringing us back. The unit is about average overall with a nice view.

Fantastic condo with an amazing view

My husband and I planned a work-cation, looking for a beach location to work remotely for a few weeks. The condo was perfect, exactly as described - clean, well-equipped, fast wifi (important for working) and an amazing view. It was the perfect distance from the beach and all of the great Portofino amenities. We had a little interruption from Hurricane Sally, and I can't say enough about the communication, care and consideration from the owner, Don. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Pensacola beach, I wouldn't hesitate - just book it! We just left yesterday and can't wait to return.

Why they chose this property

I purchased the condo to have another place to call home where I could hear the sound of the water. I own a sailboat and needed a luxurious spot with all the amenities a resort offers. I definitely found everything I needed with Portofino Island Resort.

What makes this property unique

When I first saw the Towers at night going by in my sailboat, I knew I had to see what it was about. About four years later, I was a proud owner of a 2 bedroom condo.
