This beautiful home has 3 bedrooms that sleeps six in a king, queen and two twin beds. It has a large kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Two patios on the front and back side of the house are a perfect getaway socializing with friends and drinking wine taking in the gorgeous scenery. Truly quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Located in the heart of the Sonoita - Elgin wineries there are about a dozen within a few miles.

Make this your destination to visit the region to enjoy the great wines, restaurants and shopping! However, there is so much to do in the Sonoita area such as wine tasting, four wheeling, hiking, biking, birding, boating, eating, star gazing, visiting, hunting, fishing, etc!

Great Weekend Getaway

Great spot in wine country

We loved this property in Sonoita! It was beautiful, well kept and the kitchen was fully stocked. Location is pretty central to all the wineries in the area.

Great wine county house!

This house is situated on several secluded acres in the beautiful wine and cattle raising grasslands of Sonoita / Elgin. The house is nicely furnished and clean. You will no doubt enjoy your stay here!

Wonderful base for exploring southern Az Wineries.

This house was perfect for the six of us. It is just about in the middle of all the great wineries, and just a few minutes to town for anything you need. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, beautiful views, and a great location.

Excellent Arizona wine getaway

Views are great. Quiet property at the end of the road with a private gate, which is a huge plus. The house is clean and neat kept in appropriate Southwest style. Beds are comfy. Would come back.

Great house

The house was great. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything we needed. We enjoyed both patios - the sunset was incredible and the stars were so bright. The yorkie from next door came over and played with our dog. The location is perfect - close to everything. Note that the bed in the master bedroom is 2 twins that are adjustable. Lots of pillows and blankets in the closets for the chilly nights.

Lovely quiet home!

In town for a wedding at Los Milics. Only a quick 15 minute drive! The house is comfortable, welcoming and has everything you would need for a weekend away. Quiet! Dark skies. Close to wineries. I ended up solo on this trip.(Family emergency.) I felt safe. (We lived outside of Sierra Vista long ago, I am familiar with the area.) Loved the neighbor"s chickens / roosters / cows / horses ...all the things in the morning. They are quite entertaining with my morning coffee. Flying Kite Vineyards (newly opened) was so kind and gracious. Check them out! They are super close. Thanks for a lovely weekend!!

Elgin - Nice House to Visit with Friends and Enjoy Wine

A group of friends decided to visit Elgin, to visit another long-time friend. We chose this home because of the size, location and price. The house was everything it was advertised to be and more. There was a lot of room for all of us to sit, talk and enjoy our surroundings. Elgin is located near Sonoita and a lot of wineries. We had a great, relaxing weekend. And, even though we left a item in the house, the owner found it and sent it to us immediately. Thank you for helping us have an AMAZING weekend!!!

Fabulous stay!

Amazing, peaceful getaway yet close to Patagonia lake and all the sonoita/Elgin wineries. We’ve stayed here many times and it’s the only place we’d book in this area!

Fantastic

What a wonderful place to spend a special birthday. I was thought to be a genius because I selected such a beautiful home, wonderfully decorated and great space for gathering. Owner had great communication with me and was kind to accommodate my request for early check-in - who wouldn't want to spend more time there.

We will be back!

We had an amazing time at this house with our 3 month and 3 year old sons, as well as our Goldendoodle! The views are incredible and we enjoyed the rainstorms that came through. We also had fun finding lots of little critters (including a tarantula, centipedes, and a whip scorpion) - don’t worry, none of them inside the house! :) Location is perfect and near several wineries! Sonoita is one of our favorite places and we will certainly return in the near future to stay at this property.

We really enjoyed the house & the site!

We stayed in this house for 2 weeks. It was spacious, comfortable, & well-equipped. Beds, pillows, towels were fine. Everything worked to our satisfaction. Our dog liked the acres to roam & sniff. The sunrises & sunsets and the views of the grasslands and the mountains were beautiful. There were attractions to drive to in all directions. There's enough separation to bedroom areas that there's good privacy for guests. Chris was responsive & helpful. Note that as stated in directions, this is at an elevation that means cooler, wetter weather than Phoenix (we had rain & snow flurries & morning temps below freezing). No problem for us, but different from the usual desert clime. In sum, we hated to leave.

Absolutely the perfect location and perfect property for vacationing in southern Arizona!

The home was very neat and clean and spacious all amenities that you could possibly need Chris made himself available by phone or text if you should need anything. My wife and I stayed for 30 days while entertaining family and friends visiting wineries and local attractions all with no complaints. I would not hesitate for a moment to rebook this property!

Great central location!

This wonderful quiet location offered easy access to our favorite wineries. The east and west facing patios offered a variety of excellent views of the surrounding mountains and open spaces. The house was well equipped, even including area wine glasses to save money on tastings (good glasses). Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Having stayed in many different hotels and B&B's throughout the world, Chris & Shannan present a beautiful home for your vacation that anyone renting it would be very pleased. This property is perfect for wine tasters, birders, astronomy, hunters, horse racers, horse performers, rodeo fans, etc. There is so much to do in the Sonoita area!
