Puerto Cielo is a luxurious hilltop vacation Lodge with a gorgeous view of the Texas Hill country. It is situated 7.5 miles west of Leakey en route to Camp Wood on breath taking highway 337. The ranch has 640 acres that are abundant with native texas wildlife (White Tail, Turkey, etc ) and common exotic wildlife that exist in the hill country (Axis, Aoudad, Black Buck Antelope, etc ). The ranch has year round feeding program to help with the wildlife population so viewing of the theses animals and more should occur. People with more robust physical level may desire to hike around the trails and enjoy bluffs, vistas, creeks. There are enough elevation change to challenge the most avid hikers around; and of course there are close by parks like Garner & Lost Maple. The best part maybe to cool off after the hike or while tanning with a dip in the Indoor pool with hot tub. You can even enjoy the scenic hill country while in the pool. Adults and kids will enjoy the game room since there is a pool table, pin ball machine, xbox, xbox 360, card table, chess etc. Large screen HD TV. with satellite can be enjoyed as well. Two decks that run the canyon side of the home can be enjoyed for wildlife viewing / photography or just relaxing. Dinner time can be enjoyed with a well appointed kitchen or use one of the smoker / barbecue grill on the patio next to a fire pit. This would be a great time to use wildlife binoculars for the Moon or Planets; but a telescope is even better! .The Lodge even boast a spacious garage that you can Play cards or a make shift dance site during inclement weather. Amenities continued include a large comfortable sitting area for visiting or reading. Dinning indoor will be easy at the 8 place table and the 4 seat spacious kitchen bar. Of course you may just want to enjoy the eating outside on the patio under the gazebo. Finally, a large washer and dryer are available.

Ready to sleep after rafting the close by Frio River or a long day of cruising the triple twisted sisters should be easy in one of the 6 bedrooms. The main floor includes a Master bedroom (king size bed) with a large flat screen TV with satellite, large bathroom with shower or jacuzzi tub and a walk in closet. Also on this level, 2 other bedrooms that include queen beds and closets that share a bathroom complete with bathtub / shower. There is another guest bedroom with a king size bed and closet next to a 1/2 bath. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with the bottom being a full bed, and the top being a twin. While the other has only one similar bunk bed. the larger room also includes a sofa that opens to a queen sleeper. Another pull out sofa exist in the game room along with a day bed.

Puerto Cielo is great for family reunions or fun get away with friends. Events can be planned here as well.
