Haus JadeHuus - Holiday home with infrared sauna and view over the fields

Our JADEHUUS was completed in 2020 and offers approximately 90 square metres of living space in a quiet, out-of-the-way location in the southeastern part of the holiday village of Jade-Sehestedt, right on the Jadebusen, about 700 metres from the small North Sea resort of Sehestedt.

The “Floating Moor,” an UNESCO Natural Heritage Site unique in the world, is also in the immediate vicinity and easily accessible on foot or by bike.

From the southeast-facing terrace on the 400-square-meter property, which is bordered by wild roses, there is an unobstructed view of the meadows with horses, cows, and even deer, as well as falcons, pheasants, and hares.

We offer ample space for 6 people in three bedrooms furnished with solid wood furniture (one double bed, two family bunk beds) and a large kitchen-dining area with extensive, nearly new appliances (large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, smoothie blender, toaster, ceramic cooktop with oven) and a dining table seating 6, as well as a cosy seating area with a wood-burning stove and a large, swiveling satellite TV.

A cot and a child seat can be reserved for a fee.

The spacious bathroom is a wellness area featuring a large rain shower and an infrared sauna, perfect for warming up after long walks.

During the warmer months, the terrace features lounge chairs and a teak seating area with a parasol.

Insect screens on the patio doors and bedroom windows keep unwanted visitors out.

For guests with electric cars, an 11-kW wallbox with credit card billing is provided at the house.

You can have breakfast delivered daily; there’s a small local shop nearby with all the essentials, as well as a café. In Varel, 15 km away, you’ll find all the stores you need for daily necessities. You can purchase locally grown produce from the Bioland farm Butendiek and the Demeter farm Eekenhof. A variety of restaurants in Varel Harbour and the artists’ village of Dangast invite you to dine there. A large indoor swimming pool is located in the centre of Dangast.

The North Sea Lagoon in Burhave and Centerpark Tossens are about 20 km away.

The holiday home area is still under construction, and there may be occasional noise and dust around or inside the property. A “construction site discount” has already been applied.
