We’ve stayed here many times and it’s always lovely. I’d actually give it a 4.5, but that wasn’t an option. Will stay again in the future. Management office I’d very nice at Great Ocean.

Great location. Ebb tide is nice and quiet. Pool was not heated. New bath towels. Could have had hotel size shampoo and conditioner and soap in showers for the price we paid. We had to run to the store as was no soap and shampoo /conditioner for the showers. Also there was no small dish soap. Extra sheets for the pull out trundle would have been nice. There were no extra sheets in the condo. We had to use the extra blankets.

This unit was advertised as”Newly Updated”..there was nothing updated about this unit other than perhaps a new refrigerator and some new flooring. The sheets did not fit the beds and were very cheap quality, the towels were thin and hard and dingy. The kitchen cabinets practically fell apart when you opened them, it took a weight lifter to open the patio doors. The bathrooms felt like a gas station bathroom with all the rust and mold. Please don’t lead people to believe it’s updated!!!

Perfect Location, Great View!

Our beach stay was fantastic. I read some reviews about it needing updating, but we did not feel that way at all. The master bedroom could use a refresh, but it did not impact our time in any way. The view was phenomenal and access to the beach is seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo is ON THE BEACH! Location is everything and we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and long beach walks. The unit had everything we needed and the building was well maintained. Close to all the great restaurants in NSB !

A View that Can’t Be Beat

We had a great stay! The Ebb Tide complex is kept up so nicely. The facilities are wonderful. The pool is great. The furniture in the condo is very comfortable. Beds sleep great. If the bathrooms and kitchen were redone, it would be perfect. This section of the beach is not too crowded. The walk to the beach from the condo is easy and the view from there is amazing! Love that we can bring our 2 dogs also.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach view was amazing. The place was comfortable overall. Only negatives were the beds were a little uncomfortable and there were several broken chairs on the porch.

Enjoyed our stay with Wonderful views of Atlantic Ocean sunrise & throughout the day. Comfortable condo unit although needs updates but had everything we needed. Had a few hiccups but Great Ocean Vacations handled appropriately & were helpful. Complex very well maintained exterior grounds & felt secure. Quiet surroundings & relaxing vacation. Would definately return!

Ebb Tide is a wonderful facility. People are great! Our unit floors were not clean! Had to call. Master shower needs updated, had mold in shower door, door was broken and does not drain well. Quest bedroom ceiling fan has a short in it. Didn’t work all the time.The view is beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

We will be back!!

This is a lovely unit with amazing views particularly of beautiful sunrises over the ocean. It is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Great mattress on master king size bed. Great grills down by the pool which are cleaned daily We stayed for a month. The on-site staff including Tana, Manager and Bob and Mike who perform maintenance and janitorial services were delightful to deal with and made our stay even better. We have decided to make this a twice annual visit!

What a wonderful property!

What a wonderful property! Stocked with all of the necessities for a great week at the beach. My family of six had a great week. We enjoyed the spacious condo with balcony and ocean view. LOVED the view! The pool was just perfect too. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We loved the area too. The restaurants we tried were all rated on Yelp, and we were never disappointed from Baci to Sonappa. I highly recommend this property for an escape to the beach!

The view was spectacular! Plenty of space and kitchen was accommodating. All the management was very nice. Recommendation: Master bedroom - A mattress topper would make the bed more comfortable. Outside balcony furniture needed to be repaired. Vacume for a quick spruce up mid-week. Did find the broom. Thank you for quickly changing out the filter. Overall it was a great week. Relaxing, Just what we needed.

You come for the beach only. That’s it. Not updated in the way of comfort. The bed is rock hard, pillows are paper thin. The bedskirt has a nasty whitish slime line around it. The towels are aging, thin, stained, unorganized and scratchy. Kitchen is sparse and garage sale quality equipment. Bathroom shower in master is hideous had mold - water backs up to your ankles and substance comes up from the drain and door is falling off. Very dangerous for unsteady people. Shower head is nasty, rugs in all bathrooms were downtrodden and already dirty. Beach chairs broken and rusty. 4 paper thin beach towels available. Bring your own ….. EVERYTHING.

Ebb Tide is a great property but the room itself, unit 202 South needs some updating. The den TV never worked. We couldn’t figure it out so we could never use it. Unit was clean. King bed needs a cushioned topper on the mattress for comfort. Enjoyed our time there.

A very pleasant surprise

Stayed at Ebb Tide for the month of February 2016 at a very nice comfortable condo. The complex is gated and kept in a very pristine way. The staff at Ebb Tide was most helpful. Will look forward to returning to New Smyrna Beach next year for another winter vacation. Great Ocean Condos was very easy to work with as well as preparing us for our trip with information. The UPS store on Canal Street works great to have your mail forwarded to, ask for Mike. Use Bark N Purr Kennels if needing to board your pet or for grooming. To many GREAT places to eat to even begin a list.

Could be better.

The condo was very nice. The running of the Ebb Tide was very poor. I expected the pool to be heated as advertised. It was not. I tried to get in 3 times, but couldn't stand it. Hurricane Nicole ripped the beach access steps off, and we had no beach access for our last 2 weeks. Seems like nobody cared. Hot tub was always a dirty looking green. Should have been a better stay for the price. Some money back would have be welcomed. Wasn't cheap!!! Will not be going there again.

There are nicer places to stay

While the complex itself is very nice, this particular unit is very old and dusty. There are much nicer units available within the complex which we will consider next time. This particular unit had so much dust built up (you could see it caked on the ceiling fans…gross!) that all 3 of my children became sick from allergies. The furniture made us itch (we had to drape sheets over the couch and chairs while using.) We would not stay in this unit again and will hesitate using this property management team again as we felt like their cleaning crew did not do a good job. I’m surprised it passed their inspection. Definitely not worth the amount charged.

Needs a little love

A rocky start as our door would not open. We called the property help line and got instructions on how to shimmy the door open. The unsettling problem persisted our stay. Parking not ideal as our small car barely fit the assigned spot. The bathroom had mold and the towels were old and course. The dishwasher required insistent coaxing. Pitiful pillows and average beds. Our stay ended with a surprise leak in our daughter's closet which soaked her suitcase and Nikes. On the plus side, you can't beat the view. The patio was lovely. The living room furniture very comfy. The room overall clean and floors sand free. The pool was well kept and cool. The beach location and access spot on. The condo was truly no smoking which we appreciate. Overall a bit overpriced - a nice place if you are not looking for luxury finishes. A little love and this could be a great.

31st Anniversary Trip

Th view was great except for not being able to see the sunset, the utensil drawer was filthy as well as some of the other drawers had hair in them. The beach chairs had sand in them for so long that they are rusting, when I pulled them out dirt, sand and rust went everywhere so I had to clean it up. I paid that amount of money so I could clean but in order for me to be comfortable putting my belongings I didn't have a choice. I know you can't spend 3 or 4 hours per room every time but you should have every inch of each rental property at least once every 3 months so the people that pays this ridiculous amounts of money to basically have a place to sleep. Being a business owner myself I understand the insurance and taxes you have to pay but I also understand that every company has their way of getting out of paying every penny you make to the government. I know you have to be careful but by offering certain people discounted rates if they pay cash would help you and your customers.

The condo was charming, clean, and the view was spectacular. I few important items were missing. There was no cutting board, decent knife or kitchen linens. We had an incident with workers entering the condo twice for no valid reason. Unfortunately we had to report that an expensive necklaces was missing. I did not accuse the workers but I had not left the apartment for 2 days and yet it could not be found. My daughter got into the dumpster and retrieved our trash bags and it was not found. I did report the incident to the police department.
