A Little About Our Home

Our home is a late-1800s property that was beautifully restored in 2005, blending historic character with modern comforts.

You'll find original flooring and other historic touches throughout portions of the home, while updated areas provide the conveniences you want for a comfortable stay.

The home has plenty of room for everyone, with a large kitchen, spacious family room, and six bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own unique personality and flair.

We take great pride in keeping our home exceptionally clean, comfortable, and inviting. We want you to feel at home from the moment you walk through the door.

The property is located on a quiet corner lot with little traffic, giving you a peaceful place to relax while still being close enough to walk downtown and enjoy everything Stillwater has to offer.

The home has six bedrooms total. Five bedrooms are located in the main house, while the sixth bedroom is located in a bonus room above the detached garage.

The bonus room is a great option when your group needs additional sleeping space.

Please note:

• The bonus room is included with bookings of 12 or more adult guests.
• A minimum of two adults must occupy the bonus room.
• Groups with fewer than 12 guests may request the bonus room for an additional fee, subject to availability.
• The bonus room is seasonal and available Spring to Fall.
• There is no bathroom in the bonus room.
• The bonus room is located just a short walk from the main house.

Parking

We have driveway parking for up to 6 vehicles.

Please be aware that no off-street parking is permitted under city ordinance.

No Events / Maximum Occupancy

Our home is intended primarily for overnight guests and small gatherings of the guests staying at the property.

Events are not permitted.

The maximum number of people allowed on the property at any time is 16 people, including overnight guests.

A few visitors may join your group during the day, but the total number of people on the property may never exceed 16.

This is an important city and property requirement, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Gorgeous home, wonderful stay

We stayed a week in this beautiful home, with our children and grandchildren. It had everything we needed to make this a true vacation. The kitchen and bathrooms were better equipped than my own, and my grandkids (9 and 11) said the beds were the most comfortable they had ever slept in.

Family wedding weekend

The home was beautifully decorated and had very comfortable living spaces. Each of the bathrooms had plenty of towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. The beds were all very comfortable. The view of the river and bridge were gorgeous.

This is a yearly trip for our Association Board Members. The house is amazing! It’s clean, big and comfortable! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We are married with grown children so we call that 'empty nested'. We love the St Croix River, Stillwater and general area. We enjoy boating and usually stay on our boat most of the warm weather season so our house is vacant and available at least 6 months out of the year. We decided to rent out vs. sell until we decide what we would like to do next. It is a big house for just the two of us so we decided to try VRBO since it is a nationally known site and introduces our home to more parties.
