The village of St Julien, located in the heart of Black Périgord, is appreciated for its calm, its picturesque charm and the proximity of the Dordogne (500m from the house).
The house 'La Pauline', located in the center of the golden triangle of the Dordogne valley, combines modernism and tradition. Completely restored in the style of Périgord, stones and visible beams it includes all the modern comfort and is decorated with care. The furniture is in harmony with the style of the house.
Close to five castles, CASTELNAUD, BEYNAC, FAYRAC, MARQUAYSSAC and the MILANDES, you can also discover the country house of DOMME, (5 km) and the medieval town of SARLAT, (15 km).
Périgord is also the cradle of prehistory. You can visit many caves including LASCAUX and prehistoric sites exciting. You will appreciate during your stay the local gastronomy: foie gras, truffles, Monbazillac ...

Beautiful quiet location but surrounded by family activities

In a quiet commune in a loop in the river this property is a beautifully restored and cool property in amongst some of the Dordogne’s most Popular bastides. The house is well equipped and close to a great swimming spot. We also had easy access to cycling and canoeing hire, as well as some great food outlets for us to enjoy cooking local produce.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house in a fantastic location

Michele’s house is beautifully traditional with comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. We loved seeing the hot air balloons pass over most mornings and evenings, there are great bike rides from the door and we enjoyed dipping in the refreshing Dordogne a short walk away. A fantastic area for holidays as there’s so much to see and do. And Cenac village has a great supermarket, irresistible boulangerie / patisserie and a weekly food market. We can also recommend Sawadee, the Thai restaurant. Michele was very welcoming and available by phone if needed.

La maison est bien équipée.Elle est proche de plusieurs sites touristiques à moins de 20 min de voiture.La propriétaire a été très flexible pour l'arrivée et le départ. Elle a été de très bons conseils pour les visites.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette jolie maison au calme. Le mieux c’est le salon qui est la pièce au rez-de-chaussée qui reste fraiche ; nous étions sur une semaine de canicule donc c’était fort appréciable ! Le reste de l'habitation qui est à l'étage est très bien aménagé, il ne manque rien. La terrasse est également très agréable et sans vis à vis. La vue depuis les chambres est belle et dégagée. Rien à redire sur la maison qui est en plus géographiquement bien placée. Notre hôte Nathalie est charmante et de bons conseils pour passer un excellent séjour. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Séjour très agréable dans une maison très bien équipée. Maison dans un hameau pittoresque au calme, survolé le matin par les montgolfières . La voiture est indispensable pour profiter des nombreux sites à visiter dans un périmètre raisonnable. La propriétaire, très sympathique, a pris le temps de nous accueillir et de nous renseigner sur cette belle région.

Maison plein de charme, très au calme.Absolument rien à redire quant à la propreté et tous les éléments mis à disposition pour passer un très bon séjour. Il ne manque rien.L'emplacement pour toutes les visites culturelles, promenades est idéal.Il y a tous les commerces nécessaires à Cénac-et-Saint-Julien.À l'approche de la maison, j'ai dû appeler la propriétaire pour m'indiquer clairement comment arriver, chose qu'elle a faite en direct et l'arrivée s'est déroulée sans difficulté.Je vous remercie pour votre gentillesse.Ça sera avec grand plaisir que je reviendrai si je décide de visiter une autre fois la Dordogne.

On s'y sent bien

La propriétaire est très accueillante et sait s'adapter à nos contraintes pour nous permettre d'arriver à l'horaire qui nous convient le mieux. Elle prend soin de son logement, qui est confortable. Ici on vit dans une maison typique du Périgord, au calme, avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable. La literie est bonne ; nous avons passé des nuits confortables au frais et au calme, c'est ce que nous recherchions pour ce mois de juillet. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture en face de la maison. Attention un escalier intérieur est à noter entre le salon et le reste de la maison. Merci à vous, Michèle,d'avoir laissé à disposition le nécessaire de ménage et les indispensables comme le papier toilette, les éponges, le café, les jeux de société... Nous avons trouvé le logement très bien placé : en rayonnant à moins de 30 minutes de voiture chaque jour, nous avons pu visiter de grands sites du Périgord noir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Cénac et St Julien, le hameau et la maison sont très calmes, la location est très bien équipée et reste fraîche malgré la chaleur, la literie est bonne, il ne manque rien ! L’accueil de la propriétaire était chaleureux et nous avons suivis ses conseils de visites, restaurants, marchés. Nous avons aussi bien profité de la terrasse fleurie de la maison. Les plages sont à proximité et il y a tous les commerces à Cenac. Bref nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Haus mit Charme

Das Haus hat viel Charme. Es ist liebevoll mit passenden Möbeln ausgestattet und hat doch alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Es ist ruhig gelegen in einem mittelalterlichen Dorf. In der Umgebung gibt es viele attraktive Ausflugsziele. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Wir hatten eine sehr schönen Wander Urlaub, die Unterkunft ist ideal für Ausflüge in der Umgebung.

Einfach nett und gemütlich, mit seinen vielen Winkeln der geschützten Terrasse und der ruhigen Lage haben wir uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette charmante maison, dans un petit village paisible. Proche d'une plage de galets avec vue sur un des plus beau village de France. D'autres villages pittoresques se trouvent à proximité + des ballades en Kanoë. Propriétaire très accueillant. On vous le recommande !

Fantastisch vakantieverblijf!

De woning heeft alles wat een vakantieganger kan wensen, het is schoon, ruim, gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. We vonden het enig om zo midden in een dorpje te wonen, in alle rust en in een prachtige omgeving. Misschien een klein minpuntje is de lengte van de bedden, als middellange Nederlanders kwamen we toch echt een stukje te kort. Maar voor de rest is dit charmante huis écht een driedubbele aanrader! Wij hebben ervan genoten.
