Everything is totally renovated! We love to travel and decided to customize our home giving it an upscale beach bungalow hotel vibe, with all the modern comforts anyone can ask for. The interior is completely renovated, everything in the unit is Brand New (including furniture & Flat Screen TV).

This charming home in Paradise was completely remodeled, adorned with all new furniture and bamboo flooring.

Enjoy island breezes from the backyard Tiki Hut and outdoor seating area overlooking the canal. Gorgeous Farm Style dining table allows you to enjoy dinners alfresco under the stars. Breezy Palm Trees and swaying Hammock chairs cradle you to sleep. Restore the spirit with private yoga sessions upon request.

A fish cleaning table as well as water and electric are located conveniently by the dock area. Weber Genesis stainless steel BBQ for those hook and cook nights, after a fabulous day of fishing.

The nearest public boat ramp is located just a few streets north and best of all, it's FREE.

The home (located upstairs) provides all the modern comforts to make your stay truly special. The bedroom features a KING size (Tempurpedic Mattress) bed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets. A Queen size sofa sleeper in the living room is available for children.

This home is equipped with both cable and WiFi for your convenience.

The kitchen is an open floor plan... all white cabinets, with brand new LG stainless steel appliances. Brand new LG stackable washer & dryer are located upstairs in the home.

The rental is located on the 2nd floor with beautiful views overlooking Oceanfront Park from the living room and views of Palm Trees/canal from the bedroom. Take a jog, walk, or enjoy the exercise stations at the park.

Our home is a 2 story duplex with plenty of privacy and quiet neighbors. (The downstairs enclosed area of the home is completely separate from the home upstairs. It's unavailable, as it is for personal use.)

A place away from home that feels like home!

It is the PERFECT Place away from home. Everything you could want is there in the home. The furnishings are extremely comfortable. The owners Alina and Bernie are the nicest of people. While I didn't have time to enjoy all of the amenities at their place it sure looked like fun. Overall I wishes I lived there full-time because it was that nice!!

Turtle Cove

We stayed the month of February 2015 and completely enjoyed our time at Turtle Cove. We spent many an evening on the canal in the front of the house either reading or watching all the pelicans land on the boat lift. We would cook on the new grill and eat down there or just have a glass of wine sitting and relaxing. The apartment itself is decorated in beautiful light beachy colors that make you feel welcome and at home. Everything in the apartment is first class and looks and works wonderfully. All the appliances were new,modern and upscale. From Turtle cove it was very easy to drive to an abundance of restaurants. Grocery stores were within driving distance. Our favorite drive was down to Sombrero Beach. That was maybe a 10 minute drive and it is probably one of the nicest beach's in the Keys. Also next door is Oceanside Park. This park was great for a morning walk or bike ride. Bernie and Alina were so gracious and so very easy to work with if you have any concerns or problems. They were just a text or call away. Turtle Cove was an amazing relaxing experience for both of us. We highly recommend the condo!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

Turtle Cove was the picture perfect place to spend our anniversary for a once in a lifetime vacation in the Keys. The property is conveniently located on a quiet street in Marathon. It is on the 2nd floor of a duplex home that is accessible by an outside stairway from the parking area. The gravel parking area is large enough to accommodate two full size cars or in our case a full size SUV and a boat trailer for a 21 foot boat. The enclosed ground floor area of this side of the duplex home is used by the owners. The owners stayed there a couple of weekends during the month and checked in with us in person to ensure everything with the property was perfect. Turtle Cove is just the right size for a couple. A partial list of amenities included a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, small appliances, washer and dryer. The furnishings and interior of the home is immaculate. The deep water canal and boat lift added convenience and enjoyment to the trip. The canal opens straight out into the Atlantic Ocean through the reef. As owners, Bernie and Alina have done a wonderful job renovating the home and making this a beautifully unique retreat. They were exceptional hosts who made us feel at home in this tropical paradise. Five stars all the way. We enjoyed every day in this home and would not hesitate to stay again should we ever get the chance.

Highly recommended Keys location!

We spent a month here in January 2024. So many amazing things about this rental. Excellent king bed, comfortable sofas, large TV, a smaller unit but plenty of room for two of us. The kitchen is well equipped (though small). The Tiki hut is great for sitting in the sun. Large windows let in a lot of great light and amazing sunrises. The bathroom is small but perfect. This is a 2 unit (not 4 as one reviewer claimed) and the full time resident in the unit next door was very friendly and helpful, even sharing some fish he caught. Unlike what one review stated we could not hear the other unit at all, except rarely the muffled sound of a tv through the wall. The quality windows keep out all the outside noise. There are screens on most windows for when the weather is nice. As another reviewer stated we were not able to use the kayak because we did have a way to transport it to the park next door. But the unit is a very short walk to this very nice city park next door. I spent a lot of time under the tiki hut in that park reading and watching people fish. A few streets away at the end of the street is a terrific place to watch the sunsets, we walked, drove or rode our bikes there many evenings. You might see that the unit is across from the Marathon airport, but it is a very small airport and there is really no noise at all from the planes there. Overall an excellent stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful but disappointed

First off the home is absolutely beautiful and clean inside and out! One of the disappointing factors is that it is a 4 unit home not 2. The other two units are owned by someone else and they live there year around. You could hear everything, TV, music, talking, cupboards closing, toilet flushing, etc. Nice people, but not the privacy we expected and I assume they could hear us as well. The kayak was the other issue, and a big one because we expected to do a lot of kayaking. Unless you had a truck or racks on your vehicle (to transport to the park)there was no way of getting the kayak in the water. We assumed by the pictures and description we could put it in there, but there is no way of getting it down to the water. There was no ladder (which we assumed all places on the water did for safety reasons) down to the water or floating platform and it is about a 5-6 foot drop and we were not allowed to use the boat lift. This home is also very close to the airport and there was a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood as well (not the owners fault we know, just a FYI). So it wasn't as peaceful sitting outside as we hoped for. The Tiki Hut is cute and has a TV out there, so that was a plus. It does get extremely hot in the afternoon and to hot to sit out there because the sun does shine in there at the latter part of the day.The home inside was beautifully decorated, but there are no chairs to sit on. The couches are comfy to lay on but to big and overstuffed to sit on for any length of time. If you're there a week it might not be an issue, but we stayed a month. No dining chairs only benches and again not very comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and roomy. They have quality linens and towels. The kitchen has mostly everything you need. It did not have the coffee, creamer, sugar, paper products, bottle water that it said it would. No baking sheets, storage containers for leftover foods, hot pads or broom (a Swiffer duster, but that doesn't get up crumbs), so things to bring if you think you need them. It comes with 2 bikes, which we had a lot of fun riding around, especially the park close by. My husband did have to replace one of the tires but they were kind enough to reimburse us for that. The owners are very nice and nice to deal with. If you're coming for only a week some of things might not matter and would not effect your stay. But for the extended stay and the price we paid it did for us

Great stay in Marathon

I enjoyed my March visit to Turtle Cove very much. The apartment was clean and ready for me when I arrived. Alina and Bernie were quick to respond to a couple of questions that I had. The neighbors ere very nice. I would recommend Turtle Cove to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Marathon.

Our home away from home

Turtle Cove quickly became my son's and my home away from home during our two month stay. The place was super clean with a bright vibrant decor with beautiful surroundings and lots of warm sunlight. The owners, Bernie and Alina, made sure everything we needed was provided. We cooked in often and thankful that the kitchen was well equipped. The living room had comfy couches, warm throw blankets and nice big floor pillows. Bernie and Aline also had games and puzzles at the place which came in handy during the few rainy days. I am very particular about bathrooms and was very happy that the bathroom was super clean! I also liked that there was a washer and dryer located in the master bedroom. The bedroom had a nice king-sized bed with tons of drawers for storage. The tiki hut was a very nice touch to the back of the house. I used it as my "office" since I worked from home during our stay, making all my coworkers super jealous. I had many days and nights relaxing in the tiki hut, watching a tv show (yes, there was a tv in the tiki hut!) with the two ceiling fans blowing while I sat comfortably in one of the hammock chairs. The tiki hut also had a nice farm table which my son and I often used eat a meal or to put together one of the puzzles. My absolute favorite thing about the place was being surrounded by palm trees. Coming from the north (Baltimore), this was a treat to open the shades every morning to the tropical surroundings. The location of the house was also a plus. My son took flight lessons at the Marathon airport and could easily walk to it every morning. I like to take morning walks each day and walked at the beautiful Oceanfront park that was right in front of the house. The views at this park each morning were breathtaking because it was right by the water and I could watch the sunrise. Also, being a fitness enthusiast, I was able to ride one of the two bikes provided by Bernie and Alina to the 24 hour gym. My son and I also used the bikes almost every day to go to the grocery store, a nearby restaurant or two get some ice cream. The neighbors on the other side of the VRBO were extremely nice and even offered their spare car and to go grocery shopping when we had car problems. I highly recommend Turtle Cove for your trip to the Florida Keys. I consider this my second home now since I plan to come back often. Bernie and Alina are great hosts and will make sure your stay is the best experience it can be.

Fabulous home with fabulous owners

We have had the most amazing month staying in Ali and Bernies home, the pictures do not do it justice, the decor is bright and modern with all you could ever need right there for you. We had breakfast every morning on the dock under the tiki even had a manatee for company some days. The bed Is probably the best one I've ever slept in, sooooo comfy with all the linens etc you could ever need. Being British we got completely confused by the air con but Ali was easy to contact and had us sorted in seconds flat. We were delayed flying out from th UK due to hurricane Matthew and Ali was so kind to just shuffle our booking on a couple of days. Cannot recommend this home highly enough, Marathon is Marvellous location for two of the keys best beaches and right in the middle for exploring all the islands, just wish we had enough holiday to go straight back.

Fantastic home

A Beautiful, well maintained and very nicely decorated vacation home. It was furnished with all new appliances and was spotless when we moved in. It has everything a couple could want. The owners couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. The tiki in the back of the house on the canal was the perfect spot for breakfast. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I stayed for the month of August. We had just completed graduate school and this was the perfect way to relax. The owners were wonderful and went above and beyond what any other owners had done for us in the past. They left us a graduation gift and mailed us a Thank you gift at the end of our stay. How sweet! The home is beautiful and located in a great area. The furnishings are modern which is sometimes hard to find in the Keys. The best part of our stay was "playing" with a manatee in the canal just behind the house. It was magical! The yard is great, though it was really hot outside during our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the tiki nearly as much as we would have liked to.

PERFECT GETAWAY SPOT

My husband and I spent the most wonderful week at Turtle Cove! We felt we were in a high end caribbean luxury boutique hotel! The owners did an incredible job remodeling and decorating this treasure house and have everything you need and beyond! Loved our mini vacation at Alina and Bernie's house!

We have vacationed in Marathon several times in more expensive condos than this. However, this was perfect from the moment we arrived. The owners have done a fabulous job of remodeling and professional decorating....brand new high end stainless steel appliances, all the dishes, pots, pans, silverware you need. The king size bed with Temperpedic mattress & posturpedic pillows was so wonderful. The Tiki Bar & deck is private, with flat screen TV plus new SS Weber Grill & nice, new landscaping. The bicycles are perfect as well as the 2 place kayak. Every day we walked in the gorgeous Oceanside Park across the street or rode the bicycles. The decorating is so nice, in nice bright colors & makes you feel "happy" as soon as you walk in. Alina and Bernie are so nice & gracious, they make you feel very welcome and immediately address any concerns or question. Turtle Cove is by far one of our favorite vacations & we look forward to returning.
