We met friends for a long weekend to enjoy the Beach and Boardwalk in Rehoboth. The location was fantastic...a short walk to the beach and boardwalk and downtown shops. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood and the property itself was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to gather or have quiet time. Outfitted with all you need in the kitchen, games, and a great patio to hang out on. House was very clean upon arrival and the owners were great at communicating with us. Highly recommend this property if you want to enjoy friends, be close to the beach, but distanced enough so that you aren't right in the middle of the action. The owners are great and see to it that all is well! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.
We had an amazing time at the house, and it fit our family perfectly. Well located, lovely porch with a fun pool/airhockey/ping pong table that was much used.
Wonderful outdoor space, plenty of room inside, and the wrap-around porch is awesome :) We all enjoyed it so much (just wish it could have been a longer stay). And the location is excellent - being able to walk everywhere was great. Would highly recommend!

Great Rehoboth experience
The house is clean, comfortable and in a great, quiet location. We had 14 of our family stay comfortably in the house and hope to go back again someday. We highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful time during our stay! It felt like home at the beach. This location had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as plenty of games for rainy days. Super close to the beach and boardwalk! The hosts were quick to reapond with any questions!

Fun and Functional Beach Home
Sea Iris is such a great and functional house. The amazing wrap around enclosed porch is what we felt set it apart and our family spent so much time there-we had a lot of fun nights! Being dog friendly was a big plus. Thank you to the owners for the good communication and for sharing this gem!
We celebrated my sister’s 60th birthday at the house. It was lovely. Close enough to the beach for my 83 year old mother to get down to the beach with us. The kitchen is great and well stocked with everything we needed. Also loved and used the backyard a lot. The main room in the house is a little dark, but we mostly sat on the front porch which was nice and bright. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent space for our multigenerational family. Enough space for everyone to spread out. Very comfortable. We greatly appreciated that the reservation was not cancelled after a water situation in the kitchen. Was managed well for us. Never had to bring linens & towels to a vacation property before. Surprising for the price. Kitchen is well-appointed with everything we needed. Do not supply enough paper products (tp, paper towels, tissues). Loved the gaming table on the porch. Great location to boardwalk & beach.
The big plus about this house is that it is a short walk to the beach. It is an older house that is very dark. It has had some remodeling done, but it has a weird layout and is stuffed full of old, uncomfortable furniture. There are throw pillows and signs everywhere. Plus, you have to bring your own bed linens and towels since none are provided, which is a hassle. Also, the house has a problem with flies getting in - they are everywhere, probably because there are holes in the porch screens.
Bottom line - it’s a pricey house that could use a serious makeover. You are paying for close access to the beach.
My husband and I stayed in this lovely house with my aunt, cousin, and cousin's wife for NYE. There was plenty of room for us to be together without feeling on top of each other. The beds were super comfortable, which is unusual in a rental, in my experience: I slept so much! LOL. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need for cooking. Several of us are avid cooks, and we had everything we needed to make awesome meals. The location is also excellent--very close to the end of the boardwalk on the quieter side of town. Do note that you will need to supply your own towels and sheets--and we did need to buy some paper products (toilet paper and paper towels). I highly recommend this house!

Sea Iris House Rehoboth Beach
Kitchen floor torn out and covered with various sized throw rugs which made an awful tripping hazard. This was not what was shown in any pics and we were not informed until a few days before our arrival even though the owners had the floors torn out a considerable amount of time beforehand. There also apparently is no washing of blankets or bed coverings as we were told to wash any kitchen washcloths we used before leaving. Everything has a dinginess to it. The location to the beach and boardwalk was a plus to this property. Overall not worth the money we spent on one week here.
First about the property, we loved the location and my son had a blast with the air hockey/pool table on the porch. The out door seating area is a great place to hang out. The kitchen is nicely appointed. The property was very clean and well maintained. The only issue for us was the number of bathrooms, but we knew that going in and the outdoor shower helped in that regard, as well.
Now, about the awesome property managers... There was a major, unavoidable maintenance issue the week before that the Vera and Surrey were still dealing with. While they could have canceled our reservation at the last minute to make the repair, they kept us there and worked with us. Vera and Surrey were super accommodating and did a superb job communicating when the contractors were coming and also minimizing the maintenance impact to us by working around our schedule. They absolutely did everything they could to make things right with us. We really appreciated them and would highly recommend this place!

Comfortable home in a great location!
I recently stayed here with my two kids (ages 4 mo. and 2 yo.), husband, brother, sister, mother and father. There was more than enough room to accommodate all of us.
The accommodations were great. The bedrooms were big and the beds were comfortable. I rented linens from Sheets at the Beach, which I don't regret. The bathrooms, while they show their wear, were clean and the showers had pretty good water pressure. The extra long table in the patio was perfect (even too big) for my family for meal times. We spent lots of time cooking and eating in and found it to be a joy to use the kitchen and the outdoor gas grill. To our surprise, we found a booster seat and a bassinet in the house, even though we had rented/brought our own. My only minor complaint would be that the walls were pretty thin, which required us to stay quiet while the baby was sleeping. All in all though, I was very very happy.
As far as location, this place is great! The 1.5 blocks to the beach is easy walking, even while carrying an infant. The house is on a quiet street, but only a few blocks away is Rehobeth Avenue, which we frequented by foot several times a day. It was great to be able to just walk back and forth from the house to the beach, Funland, and all of the restaurants on the boardwalk.
The owners were very responsive and it was easy working with them.
We liked the neighborhood and the convenience to the beach and boardwalk. The backyard patio is great. The hosts responded quickly to our questions. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, pots and pans, and appliances. In spite of some bad weather at the start, we had a lovely weekend.
8 longtime friends enjoyed 4 nights at this beach house. The front porch was delightful for morning coffee, chats, snacks and Happy Hour. Location was an easy walk to restaurants and the beach! The house was clean and welcoming! We had a delightful time!
This is the perfect place for a family gathering; close to the beach, boardwalk, playground, quiet neighborhood which was good for walking the dog, and a fenced in yard to boot. The kitchen is particularly well stocked. Love this place!
Our stay at 105 Stockley was perfect! The house was appointed with everything we would need, the location was just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, the owners were responsive to any questions and help we needed. Our vacations was just perfect in large part to our stay at Stockley. We would recommend this location to anyone...especially with a large family and pets!!!
Everything was as advertised and the house was a perfect place for our family to stay. Very comfortable and roomy house near beach and boardwalk.

About the host
Hosted by Surrey Bailey or Vera Bailey
We spent summers living in this house and working as teenagers in Rehoboth. How lucky were we. We have rented it out for the last 20 years or so and we like to make little improvements as we go along and get people's reactions as they return year to year.
Why they chose this property
Rehoboth has been in our family for generations. This home is now on its second. Rehoboth is our beach resort town. So much so, one of us owners lives locally now.
What makes this property unique
This house has lots of options for relaxing with friends. There are 6 different social areas within the house and backyard -- many more intimate places than the new construction homes with their open concept. Parking is generous for 4+ cars. There is a gaming table for the kids, plus board games and a library of books offered to the tenants. The house is fresh and light and a great place to be even if its pouring rain outside.
