Our 7 nights here were amazing. So low key and relaxing. The condo is wonderful, with views on 3 sides (the sunset ocean view is over rooftops, but it was gorgeous from the living room and the deck). Kitchen is well-stocked. Peaceful community. Contemporary furnishings. Management company is responsive. You could really LIVE here.

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Solana Beach many times but this is the first time we have used Stubbs. Stubbs have been around for a very long time and the reason they have been is their customer service.We had some issues with our rental and Stubbs did the best they could to resolved them. The owner of the unit was very hard to get work done which some of the work should have been done before we arrived. We were staying for two months. These rentals should be reviewed and resolved been the clients arrive. Overall Stubbs were excellent and their staff Tyler & Kevin and their handyman were excellent!

The space was excellent with 3 rooms with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. We have returned many times to this location and Stubbs always takes care of anything that comes up. There are quite a few steps for this condo but we really enjoyed the views it gives.

Well Equipped Property for Vacation or Business

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great experience. The place has everything you could possibly need while away from home. The ocean is a 5 minute walk as long as you can handle the stairs. Although the beach is not private, it feels that way. The place is nearly deserted compared to the other public beaches.Upon arrival we asked if we could get another fan and within the hour Stubbs delivered one for us to borrow for the week. They were available at any time of the day if anything was needed. All the neighbors were very quiet and polite. Despite having windows open at night we heard nothing except a few birds. There was the occasional delivery, maintenance or garbage truck during the day, however still minimal disturbance despite being located by the entrance drive.

The large windows/patio doors that were on 3 sides of the upper floor provided us with great ocean views. The Del Mar Beach was within walking distance which we enjoyed daily. Potential renters with mobility issues should note that there are many stairs to access the unit as well as a flight of stairs inside the unit.

You are only 20 minutes away from downtown and most attractions, while still staying in a quiet location right on the beach. Seascape Sur is a wonderful ocean front condo complex with two pools and tennis courts. The condos are spacious for the whole family to spread out and the grounds are also quiet and clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Even though this particular condo is not directly beachfront it packs a huge bang for your travel bucks. The views on all sides are awesome...ocean, sunset, landscape plantings bursting with color...and the windows are expansive generating a very open feel. The open concept is perfect for family gatherings and the decor is high end. The bedrooms are well separated from the kitchen/dining/living spaces which enables late nighters to party while early risers slumber. A short walk to the complex large view patio offers a great place to beach/ocean watch. The steps leading to the beach are easily accessible. The condo was clean and well supplied to meet all needs. Just a heads up that there are quite a few steps required to reach the condo so those with mobility issues would be challenged. Highly recommended and we will be returning in the future.

Christmas in Solana Beach

My parents rented the property for the week of Christmas for us (6 adults). We cooked lovely meals in the kitchen and the large dining table was used every day. The kitchen was well appointed and the TV was great for watching football. My mother doesn't get around well and enjoyed the views of Delmar and the ocean. My husband and I enjoyed walks along the beach every day. There are a lot of stairs to the beach, but one could drive to a flater spot. We had a great time! Love Solana Beach and Seascape Sur!

The condo is very comfortable and well appointed, but the best part is the view of the ocean and the sunsets - they're amazing! The kitchen is great - we cooked big meals for our family every night and always had everything we needed. The location is also terrific - walking distance to shops, etc, and easy access to I-5. The folks at Stubbs were great to deal with - very accommodating, responsive and professional. We had a wonderful two weeks and can't wait to go back!
