Highly recommended!

A beautiful and spacious flat very well equipped to make your stay easy and pleasant. It is situated in Guethary, possibly the most beautiful village on the French Basque coast. It is only 4 minutes walk from the heart of the village and a few steps from the supermarket and a bakery, a pharmacy is few meters further on. Communication with the owner is smooth and friendly. Highly recommended.

Guethary apartment

Good location. Noise from main road an issue if windows open. Windows needed to be open due to lack of air flow in under-roof apartment. Very poor wi#fi. Otherwise, as advertised.

Très déçue l'appartement est sous les toits avec salle de bains et cuisine sans aucune aération juste insoutenable en cas de fortes chaleurs. L'hôte n'a fourni aucune clim valable. Vu le prix assez conséquent on attend mieux. Je conseille à l'hôte d'installer une clim. D'autre part c'est très bruyant la nationale est très proche. A éviter si on veut se reposer.

Depuis 14 ans, nous louons cet appartement de façon saisonnière. Vous êtes la première, Madame, à nous laisser une si mauvaise appréciation: « une étoile ». Vous nous reprocher un phénomène national « la canicule de juin 2026 », sans aucune indulgence. La France entière a souffert de chaleur exceptionnelle. Nous n’avons jamais mentionné dans notre annonce l’air conditionné pour autant dès votre arrivée, nous avons mis en place des colonnes de ventilateur dans chaque pièce de vie pour soulager l’effet de température extrême. Quant à la localisation de la maison, certes, proche de la départementale, l’installation des triples vitrages sont là pour pallier à toute nuisance. Vos reproches, si virulent ne sont pas appropriés à une période caniculaire. Lors de votre séjour, nos parents de 86 ans, résident permanent dans notre maison de famille, eux-mêmes, subissant ces violentes températures, n’ont pas hésité à se démunir de leur propre ventilateur pour votre confort. Vous n’avez eu de cesse, pendant votre séjour, de les inquiéter de votre mal-être, sans aucune considération et compréhension. Nous ne sommes pas un hôtel, nos prix sont raisonnables par rapport à notre concurrence à Guethary. Nous pensons Madame que vous n’avez pas l’esprit AIRBNB. Cordialement.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem alten fast schon romantischen Haus.zuvorkommende Gastgeber, aber tagsüber starker Verkehrslärm, nicht wahrnehmbar inder Wohnungsbeschreibung . Durch Isolation keine nächtlichen Störungen.

Magnifique maison de famille avec beaucoup de charme. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et font leur possible pour que nous nous sentions bien. Les lits sont très confortables. Le logement est très bien placé pour profiter à pied des charmes de Guethary.

Nous reviendrons à Guethary.

Nous avons passé un séjour idéal en famille.Les hotes sont absolument charmant et la maison a un cachet fou. L'emplacement de la location permet d'aller à la plage à pieds et de se déplacer dans la région en TER ou en bus et ainsi d'éviter les embouteillages.La région est magnifique.

Agréable maison, située près des commerces (Spar et boulangerie), calme . Equipement tout à fait satisfaisant. Beaucoup d'espace. Descriptif conforme sauf la mention :2 salles de bain alors qu'il n'y en a qu'une.

Juste parfait!

Un appartement ultra confort et indépendant à la déco chic et soignée dans une magnifique maison de famille idéalement située au cœur de Guethary. Un grand MERCI à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et gentillesse. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés

Cosy & Relaxing stay in Guethary!

A very comfortable stay in a traditional Basque house. The location is extremely convenient for walking access to Guethary and the beaches. The apartment was very well appointed, clean, cosy and with parking available close by if needed. Our host Blandine was very friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended!

Location de qualité, équipements, décoration, literie. Tout était très bien. La maison ancienne magnifique. Emplacement bien : pour la proximité des commerces (très bonne boulangerie, supérette à 2 min) et plage à pieds avec deux enfants sans problème. Les 2 seuls points négatifs pour nous étaient la rue très passante à coté de la maison, et le fait d'être au 2e étage permet difficilement de profiter du petit jardin. Sinon, notre semaine à Guéthary nous laisse un très bon souvenir !
