This beautifully appointed condo has a Tuscan tropical feel and is situated in the Coronado building which is closest to the beach in Phase 2 at Las Palomas Beach and Golf Resort. Enjoy spectacular sunset views from the balcony of this west facing condo. This one-bedroom condo can accommodate 4 people with a king size bed in the master bedroom and pull-out sofa in the living room. Well maintained, like new, condo with many non-required rental pool extras to enjoy your vacation getaway right on the beautiful, most popular Sandy Beach area of Puerto Penasco! Your reservation includes daily housekeeping, wrist bands, and pool towels and access to the whole resort. Very clean and awesome location overlooking the water and directly off of the elevator. Great communication from owners. They genuinely care that you have a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

Mary and Terry go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and provide everything you could possibly need to have a fabulous trip. Their recommendations and directions were spot on. Communication was seamless. Speaking with Mary is like talking to a close friend. The condo is fully stocked and the resort has wonderful amenities. We loved exploring Rocky Point. We enjoyed a hike at the sea cliffs at the back side of Cholla Bay and then rewarded ourselves with a drink at Wrecked at the Reef at a beach side palapa. We missed low tide in Cholla Bay so we did not see the tide pools - we are looking forward to doing this in the future. We enjoyed the harbor with the views of the shrimp boats. Shopping at Rodeo Drive Cholla Mall was also interesting with some higher end shops for Mexico. We loved the food and the views from Casa del Capitan and the tequila shrimp at Chef Mickey's Place was scrumptious. Rocky Point is truly a wonderful get away spot and so convenient from Arizona.

Perfect Penasco Condo!

This place is ideal in every way and far exceeded my expectations. We arrived to a spotless condo and every possible thing we might ever need was stocked - from foil and plastic wrap, to toiletries and first aid supplies, to every imaginable kitchen appliance. Everything was in tip top condition, clean, and organized perfectly. We spent most of our time at a friend's penthouse and at the beach/pool, so we only slept in the unit, but I would love to return another time and spend a long weekend staying in and enjoying the unit. I look forward to rebooking and coming back.

Pool and Beach Protocols

The unit, owner, and property created a great experience for us! We would return in a heartbeat! I do wish that the pool and beach managers controlled people’s rudeness of saving beach chairs beginning at 630 am. I personally watched the same people save chairs both at the beach and the pool. I witnessed a lady saving 8 chairs next to us on the beach that were not occupied all day. I know this is a common problem at resorts and on cruises, and it is challenging to develop a protocol and hold people accountable, but it does impact many guest’s ultimate experience. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again soon!

We met in Virginia Beach, Virginia, married, and moved to Albuquerque, NM. Our love of the Southwest has only grown over the years but we knew that someday we would want to be somewhere close to the water again. Several years ago, friends brought us to Puerto Penasco and we spent the weekend looking at all resorts here on Sandy Beach. We had never been to Rocky Point before but ended up buying that weekend! That experience
was many, many sunsets and moons ago and we love it here. We hope that your time here on the incredible Sea of Cortez will result in wonderful memories for you as it has for us! Albuquerque is still our home with spectacular sunsets but Puerto Penasco has surely tied for first place with awesome photography opportunities of sunsets as well!

Why they chose this property

From our Albuquerque home to this little slice of paradise, it is a driving trip that is easily managed and we can come enjoy a Sea of Cortez ocean front property. A one hour journey South of the Lukeville, Arizona/Sonoyta, Mexico border and well maintained Hwy. 8 combine for a chance to unwind as we anticipate our arrival in the seaport town that we love with its laid back lifestyle.
