Woodys Lodge, 3 bedroom premier property on Felmoor Park, Hot tub, dog friendly.

Woodys Lodge is a 3 bedroom deluxe property located on the beautiful tranquil Felmoor Holiday Park just outside of Morpeth, Northumberland. Fantastic place to relax, unwind and recharge those batteries. It's also a great central place to explore the fabulous Northumberland attractions.

This property is pet friendly, we allow up to 2 dogs and you can bring them free of charge. If you have more than 2 dogs then please do get in touch - we may make exceptions given the type of breed and how well behaved they are :)

The fully equipped lodge is situated in a quiet cul de sac of the park affording guests with privacy. The spacious terrace has ample seating and dining arrangements so guests can entertain. The deluxe hot tub is sunken into the terrace at the rear of the lodge.

The lodge consists of vaulted ceilings, modern fixtures and fittings throughout and tastefully decorated. The open plan fully equipped kitchen over looks the living and dining area, meaning the chef can still interact with their guests as they prepare dinner. Woodys Lodge has just had a mini makeover, we have replaced throughout our carpets, soft furnishings and sofas. We take pride in our lodge and that is reflected when our lovely guests keep returning.

The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower. The double bedroom has built in wardrobes and a dressing table whilst the twin bedroom contains two single beds and a wardrobe. All three bedrooms have their own flat screen TV's and the owners provide the bed linen.

The family bathroom is equipped with toilet, large shower enclosure, wash basin and heated towel rail.

The owners provide Sky TV, outdoor and indoor games for the children (and adults). A welcome pack is prepared for each guests arrival.

This property can accommodate 6 comfortably or 8 as we do have a sofa bed but additional bed linen charges may apply.

For larger groups we also have our sister 2 bedroom lodge (Stag Lodge) which sits opposite Woodys Lodge. We often get families booking both together for special occasions and summer holidays.

Our lodges are available to rent throughout the year.

Check in day is either a Monday or Friday, though at times, particularly during off peak season we can be more flexible.

We operate seasonal rates. Since this website has changed from seasonal rates to flat daily rates we ask that you submit a quote so we can amend to the correct seasonal rate.

Minimum stay is 2 nights.
During Peak Season (June - September) minimum stay is 3 nights. A small reduction may be offered if guests choose 2 nights during this time.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely week at Woodys Lodge, plenty to do around the area. Great lodge, excellent hot tub and very nice welcome pack. Lodge had everything we needed, good to have a washing machine as well. The only minor thing was no BBQ and we had taken a lot of BBQ food as it on the description and photos but did cook it all indoors instead. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Would recommend and will hopefully return at some point.

We had a great stay thank you. The lodge was very clean, and spacious for the 6 of us plus dog. Facilities wise, my only minor complaints would be the oven wasn’t great and the bed in the double room (not master bedroom) was very uncomfortable. Everything else was great. The welcome pack was lovely thank you. Area wise - it’s a good location, there are many things to do just a short drive away. The site itself had a playground and arcade for the kids. I’m not sure I’d eat at the on site restaurant but drinks were reasonably priced. Overall - thank you a lovely holiday.

The lodge was tastefully decorated with everything you need. Information on VRBO needs updating IE WiFi password. Could improve on the mattresses. Nice little touch of a welcome box of treats. Outside furniture also lovely and a hot tub is always an added bonus

Such a fantastic lodge, situated in a cul-de-sac so it’s very quiet & private. The wrap around outside space is amazing, great for my dog! The hot tub is awesome & very relaxing after a morning of walking & visiting the beaches. Internally the lodge has everything you need, SKY TV, plenty space & a great sized kitchen equipped with everything you need. The welcome hamper is a lovely touch! I will definitely be coming back.

Great location for all Northumberland has to offer.

The lodge is set in beautiful parkland with easy access to the A1. The hot tub is great & is checked daily. Wi-Fi is a bit on the slow side, no good if you’re wanting to stream or for gaming. Lodge is spacious & well maintained. Only thing we would criticise are the beds, think all are ready for replacing. All in all a lovely relaxing place to stay. Food at the Crazy horse we would definitely recommend.

Had a great weekend, woodys Lodge was lovely, the only gripe was the filter covers kept coming loose in the hot tub and subsequently releasing all of the dirt into the water. The hot tub felt rather dirty because of that. Otherwise we really loved our stay, thank you.

Lovely spacious property. Well appointed with lots of homely touches and spotlessly clean. Bowls and blanket for our dog were greatly appreciated as was the welcome basket. Hot tub was fantastic and maintained every day. Outside decking huge with plenty for seating. Holiday park lovely and quiet, great play park very short walk away. Pub reasonable for drinks, didn't eat there as cooked in lodge . Close to A1 for days out but no road noise. Would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Very enjoyable stay

Woodys Lodge was clean and modern with great facilities, added bonus was a dog friendly pub a few minutes walk from the lodge that also served food. Great location with easy access to Northumberland’s beauty spots. Being first timers to Northumberland the owners (Mel and her father) took time out to explain the park layout, local restaurants and places to visit , Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely relaxing roomy lodge

Woody's is a lovely 3 bedroom lodge which we rented for short stay in October. Everything we possibly could need was there on arrival including welcome pack w Prosecco ( nice touch) and the Hot Tub was excellent addition which the teenage boys loved. Sited in Felmoor Park,close to Alnwick and Northumberland coast it's perfect location for a forest getaway. Thanks Mel and team... would def book again!

Very peaceful and stress free stay. Lovely beach about 15 minutes drive away with white sand and a cafe on the beach front. We took a lovely walk at a local country park which had a large lake and lots of walking trails. Would highly recommend.

Woodys lodge Felton.

Great lodge on a fabulous setting. Lodge, decking and hot tub all spotlessly clean. Owners were onsite within half an hour of booking in to check that we were okay and to see if we needed anything. Great time had by all. Would definitely recommend and will probably be returning.

Had a wonderful stay in Woodys Lodge.. the hot tub was fantastic, the lodge was clean, cosy, well equipped and comfortable.. the hosts left a welcome treat box which was very much appreciated. We all thoroughly enjoyed the Logde and wouldn’t hesitate in booking it again..the park itself has lovely grounds and even though 8 of us were staying in the lodge there was plenty of room for us all without feeling overcrowded . We will be back.

Why they chose this property

We chose Felmoor Park as it's very central in terms of getting to Newcastle and exploring all the delights of Northumberland. My catch phrase is that its almost 20 minutes drive to get to most places!

What makes this property unique

We are continuously improving our lodges and holiday homes, we aim to provide a five star service to all of our guests, many of which return time and time again.
