They regulate the maximum occupancy and parking limits. These rules are strictly enforced. We apologize this seems unfriendly but we are required to adhere to this ordinance. Check in time is 4:30, which may be altered to 5pm on back-to- back reservations (this is on the VRBO listing) The home is very large and we have high standards of cleaning so it takes time to get it ready for guest arrivals. Hello Charley- Thank you for your review of our home. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the Surf Resort. . I just wanted to make one comment so that your review doesn't confuse potential guests. Our maximum occupancy at all times is 20 (including all children) and we have parking for a maximum of 10 cars. The occupancy and parking limits are enforced by the local county codes. We can not be in violation of these limits or we could lose our permit to rent the home. Thanks again for your review.

Hello- We are glad to hear you appreciated the views and luxury amenities this home offers and that you loved the home. We were also happy to refund the deposit that was charged for booking with an agent. We apologize that the cable was out during your stay. I spent hours on the phone with the cable company only to find that it was a major outage to the entire area and it required a couple days to fix. Luckily, this home is equipped with 12 Smart HD TV's and the WIFI allows steaming of most channels and services such as Netflix. We send all home instructions via email prior to our guests arrival. This packet has detailed information about the house to ensure that our guests have all the information they need to enjoy the home. We realize guest may have questions during their stay and we are available 24/7 to answer them. We also have local service people that can respond to any issues that may arise. When your guests locked themselves out of a bedroom, we were able to tell you where to find the key to unlock the door. We also were quick to respond to the calls about the hot water...which was also accidentally turned off. (switch is on wall in bathroom and was mistaken for a light) We try to make our home family friendly and one of our bronze statues is of a mermaid. I felt she could be a little more modest so I tied a top on her. I put the "do not touch" sticker on her so that the children in my family would stop taking off her make-shift top. Sorry this sticker upset you but I didn't want to offend any families with a topless mermaid. :) Again, we are so glad to hear that loved our home. Thank you!
