We were made very welcome by Jo to the property which lived up to its 5* reviews. All the facilities you could wish for, obviously well loved and looked after and very comfortable. Fantastic views across fields of vines, sunflowers and maize right down to the estuary. A lovely place to relax but also just a few miles drive to Mortagne sur Gironde, a beautiful port with good restaurants and bakery. Also close to the beach at Saint Georges de Didionne. We look forward to staying again!

Lovely countryside location, very quiet but still within easy distance of boulangerie and supermarket. Well equipped with different eating areas both inside and outside. In hot weather would be nice to use the pool. Lots of areas to visit to see wildlife, especially the storks nesting by the side of the road. Black Kites, Kestrels, Herons an many other birds were wonderful to watch flying over the local fields. A beautiful area away from the crowds.Jo was brilliant and easily contactable. It was lovely to be welcomed by a person rather than a keysafe.

Picture postcard among vinyards

Set among vinyards and sunflowers with a view of the Gironde this propery is indeed set in a piece of French tranquility. Jo was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival especially as our flight was delayed. The house had everything we needed including a fantastic pool. There was plenty to see and do in the region including a lot of nice villages including harbours, beeches, kayaking, sight seeing. My teenage sons who thought it was going to be too remote enjoyed the local way of life and did not want to leave at the end of our stay! Thanks Jo and Blue.
