Located on the main canal in Sea Isle, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom dog-friendly home sleeps 7 and offers direct access to Galveston Bay, making it a dream for boaters, kayakers, and anyone who loves life on the water.

Whether you prefer casting a line from your boat or relaxing onshore, Bay Watch delivers. Tie up at the private dock (boat lift not available), cast off from the nearby community fishing pier, or enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars with the canal’s above-water fishing spotlight. This location also provides the perfect spot for kayaking and even swimming right off the dock.

Soak up the sun or kick back in the shade on the spacious wraparound deck, where island breezes and stunning canal views—including those signature Galveston sunsets—set the scene for pure relaxation. The deck’s open area is great for sunbathing, while the covered section provides a cool retreat.

Inside, this charming 1,147 sq ft home features a cheerful, open-concept living and kitchen area with beachy décor and plenty of natural light. The primary bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom, while two guest rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with a pyramid bunk) provide comfort and flexibility for families or small groups. A wheelchair ramp offers easier access to the main level (not ADA compliant).

Bring your pups along too—Bay Watch welcomes up to two dogs (combined 50 lb. max) with a $100 non-refundable fee per pet. Please note, no puppies under one year old.

Located just 2 minutes from the beach, and a short drive to Galveston’s top attractions like Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, and the Historic Strand District, Bay Watch also offers access to Sea Isle’s amenities: a community pool (with $100 pass), park, tennis courts, restaurant, and bait shop.

Bayside Getaway

Wonderful location in Sea Isle. Fishing right off the dock and amazing views of the sunrise and sunsets. The house is very clean and set up nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Great family get away

We loved our stay! The location was great and the house accommodated almost everything we needed. The only issues we had were that there were no cleats to tie the boat off to, and it was stated that the boat stall and lift were off limits, and we also had to drive 30 minutes into the island to retrieve the key to the boat dock. The fishing was great we caught a ton of crabs the crab trap and there was a steady supply of bait moving throughout the canal! The house had everything we needed it was well stocked. All rooms had smart TVs.

Highly recommend

This home is in a great location for canal access and fishing. We brought our own kayaks and easily dropped them in the canal. The Sea Isle community is wonderful. We always frequent the pier, restaurant, market store and bait shop. The home was clean with a well stocked kitchen. The upper deck and lower deck were wonderful to sit and relax. We would definitely stay again.

Galveston Getaway

Great location!! Fishing directly in the canal or short walk to wading in the bay. Nicely equipped kitchen. Lots of outdoor living space. We will go back soon!!

VRBO on the Bay in Galveston

Awesome area! Very Laidback environment. We spoke with a Realtor while there about purchasing a location in the Sea Isle/Terramar neighborhoods. The BEST of BOTH Worlds! The Beach is a short Golf Cart ride away and the Bay offers fishing, boating, and from what I understand some Duck Hunting! Super Cool!!

A great little house

This property was perfect for a group of middle age guys to get away and relax while fishing . The property has been nicely renovated , and the beds are very comfortable. The house is located directly on intersecting canals which made it a blast to fish out back all day and night. We had a great time and I'd give this rental 5 stars!

Beautiful house

Beautiful house, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenary, clean and spotless, it is every we wanted. This is the second time we rented this house. It is as nice as the first time. Highly redommended.

Bad 1st house/good replacement

The first property had flooded in the downstairs and smelled of mildew so badly we couldn't stay but the management was wonderful and put us in another rental! The 2nd place was great!

Awesome house

Everything was great staying here at the Baywatch. We all enjoyed it very much. The only thing we missed was a large ice maker, in which we got spoiled from because we had it during another rental house back 2018. Other than that it was perfect !

Coastal getaway

Overall fishing is great, a little windy at the pier. However not a lot of fishing in the neighborhood channels. The bbq grill needs an update as well as the outdoor sink. The place is very accommodating it has all you need with the help of the marina close by. Recommend this coastal Getaway.

Great canal spot

Our family truly enjoys staying in Sea Isle. This was our first time at this property. The location was fabulous. It’s right across from the bay on the corner of the canals. It’s a short walk, bike ride, or golf cart drive to the marina as well. The deck has an amazing View of the bay and sunset. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans plates glasses and silverware. The entire place was very clean. I would highly recommend this property and we will try to stay here again.

Cozy home, perfect getaway

We had a wonderful two night stay in this canal home with bay views. Cozy home with a large kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit small but that’s typical for a beach house. We loved the upstairs and downstairs outdoor areas. Excellent fishing (catfish, redfish, croakers, spots and black drums) and room to grill downstairs as well as covered and uncovered areas to lounge upstairs. Management was very responsive when we had questions. House was well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!

Quick response.

24 hour quick response to all concerns and property issues (it is a house, there will be things that happen that are unforeseen and no one’s fault). When those things are resolved quickly, it just makes it less inconvenient.

Great time at Bay Watch!

Excellent location for kayaking into the bay and getting to the pier and marina quickly! Needs a ladder into the canal. This home has a big kitchen with everything you need, including a Keurig (not pictured). Clean and everything working properly. Issues: couch needs to be replaced, sags terribly. Queen bed in secondary bedroom needs frame replaced, sags badly. Secondary bedrooms are VERY small. The grill is very small and only good for hot dogs or hamburgers-is NOT the grill in the pictures. We enjoyed the huge deck! This property also has a cabinet with boogie boards and other fun supplies-nice touch! We would visit again!
