Penthouse gulf view on the beach

Modern beachfront penthouse condo with panoramic breathtaking view of the Gulf. Lots of natural light. Fully-equipped, newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. All linens, towels and kitchenware included. Please note, the main bedroom with king-sized bed is open to the living area, however there is a sliding room divider that can be used for separation if needed. Unit sleeps a family of four very comfortably, or great for a couples romantic getaway. Just bring your swimsuit and flip-flops. Smart TV and wi-fi are provided.

View looks generally north, sweeping up the entire beach, with the pier and Sanibel Island in the distance.

There are tennis and pickleball courts as well as a heated swimming pool on the property.

Cross the street and you reach Santini Plaza with restaurants, shops, and farmers markets weekly.

Hop on the trolley northward to get to Publix grocery, more restaurants, or to Times Square, the nightlife area of the beach.

This unit is just as shown. Everything was wonderful, especially sitting on the lanai and just watching the ocean! EBT is very well maintained. Wonderful vacation!

The unit was clean, comfortable and the views were A MAZE ING !!Unfortunately, I can't give this a 10, since it was not perfect, at least to me. I've stayed in several VRBO condos, so I consider these as a few minor discrepancies but maybe not for you. 2 people, 7 nights: only 1 roll of toilet paper, no Kleenex, only 1 roll of paper towels, no dishwasher pods. Wish I knew this ahead of time. So, plan on adding these to your shopping list your first night or bring a few from home. I didn't realize these until the 3rd day. I knew there was not a washer/dryer in the unit, but there was one on first floor. Those W/D's are small. 2.25 to wash, 2.00 to dry. Unit provided one box of detergent, so you will need that to do at least one load of towels.Was so happy to learn that the unit had beach chairs and beach umbrella ( actually 2 umbrellas ), unfortunately, both were broken. I was able to make the large one work, but it was only good for the morning sun. Forget the afternoon. But, guess you can always go to the pool, but it is busy in the afternoon, so not many chairs. Last, but not least, the bathroom and bedroom walls are near the elevator. You will hear it running as early as 6am and as late as Midnight. Eventually, you get used to the noise, but it's a nuisance the first 3-4 days. If these things aren't important to you, at least you will love the view from the balcony. Dolphins and maybe a Saltwater Croc will appear, within 50 yds from the shore.

Was a great condo which was under going renovation due to hurricane. Not much around the area for dining and shopping and area traffic was terrible but we enjoyed our stay.

What a view!!

The view is breathtaking! We walked up the beach a few of the mornings and there were dolphins swimming very close to the shore, which was so fun! My husband and I just spent a week here to get out of the cold weather and had to work a good part of the week as well - but this is just what we needed. As expected, there’s a lot of construction in the area from the hurricane a couple of years ago, but if you go with that expectation, it doesn’t really make that much difference The owners were super responsive when we had a couple of questions. Being around 500 ft.², the space feels quite comfortable and lives bigger than we thought it would. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

The penthouse stay was adequate. It was clean and there was plenty of storage and closet space. The bed was comfortable. The unit had a new air conditioner and window shades which were nice. Unit could have had better grilling tools. As it basically had none. Also there were no pool noodles for guests. So my husband and I only swam once which was a shame. A heads up for everyone! There was only one working elevator and being on the top floor that would have been nice to know. The elevator was EXTREMELY squeaky and loud even with the air conditioner running. You couldn't get away from it. You heard it all the time late at night and early in the morning. Ear plugs did not help. This is true for the entire building. Everyone was talking about it. So needless to say, we did not get much sleep.

Disappointed!

We have stayed at EBTC for several years and other than the beautiful view, we were very disappointed with our choice of condo for this year. This unit is badly in need of a deep cleaning and minor repairs. The tile floors were very dirty! You could see collected dirt on the fan blades. The shower floor was dirty.....so much so that after 5 weeks I came home with a case of athletes foot. Two weeks into our stay I informed the owner and cleaning service of the problems. His response......"that is not acceptable" Nothing was done. Additionally, the refrigerator made a grinding noise at all times of the day and night. Nothing was done. The chain on the fan/light in the kitchen stopped working and I asked the owner to take a look at it. Nothing was done. We cooked by the stove light for the last 2 weeks of our stay. Pictures and the cost of the condo don't tell the whole story!

We are very sad that our guest did not have a good experience in our unit. As our other reviews show, this visit was an exception to our usual standard. We are now monitoring our cleaning more closely to assure that the unit is immaculate, and that the condition of the condo matches the incredible view and location offered in this location. We live local and thus have the ability to respond quickly to any visitor needs.

Living in nearby Fort Myers, we scoured the area seeking a condo that offered the best of everything--a totally unobstructed view of blue Gulf waters, white silky sand on a calm beach, the shortest walk to the waves from our doorstep, and everything fun that Florida has to offer just seconds away. We found it--and so have you!

Why they chose this property

Reasons 1-5: The views. It will take your breath away. You could have a great holiday just sitting on our balcony looking at the gulf and the beach. Many properties have partial views of the beach, or have the path to the beach blocked with waterways. Not our place! Some properties are too close to road, and you hear it. Not at this unit! Some places have a tiny pool--ours is really big. The grounds are lovely and you have tennis and great restaurants right across the street. It really is the best of all worlds.

What makes this property unique

Tennis on site. Walk to restaurants and shops. Beautiful pavers on the grounds. Windows on two sides providing glorious light. Gulf views looking one direction, and Estero Bay views the other. Fully-equipped kitchen with a first-class grocery just down the road, you can dine in enjoying the view, or dine out on fresh seafood from the gulf.
