Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the apartment, the location, and the prompt reply of our staff. We would, however, like to clarify a few points. Perhaps you did not fully realize the kind of place where you were staying. Palazzo Altieri is a magnificent 17th-century historic palace, with centuries of history and architecture behind it. The walk from the elevator to the apartment, through its historic corridors and steps, is precisely one of the elements that makes staying in such a unique building so atmospheric and special. We understand that it may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, but this is an inherent characteristic of a historic palace rather than a defect of the accommodation. As for the stairs leading to the sleeping area, the apartment is explicitly described and advertised as a loft. By definition, a loft has a raised area, and the staircase is clearly visible in the photographs provided with the listing. We therefore encourage guests to carefully consider the description and photos before booking. We hope that, despite these points, you were able to appreciate the unique setting and the exceptional convenience of our location in the heart of Rome.
