Lovely and Relaxing

We had a lovely and relaxing week stay. It was clean, stylish, roomy, well equipped and comfortable. An excellent location for visiting nearby villages, hiking and eating out. We would definitely recommend this villa to others.

Budens

This was an amazing villa! We got lucky and there were only two occupied so we didn’t have to share the outdoor space. Great location for exploring the Algarve and an excellent grocery store right in Budens!

Relaxing

The property was beautifully clean with good sized rooms and attractive. The pool was clean and inviting. Enjoyed looking at the Windmill. The property is a short distance from Salema which we were glad of as Salema was crowded with tourists and we wanted to relax. However, we could easily go int he evening into Salema for dinner.

spacious and quiet

The property was very spacious and quiet. It offered everything we needed (we were a family of three). The A/C worked well. The building seems solidly built, and we could not hear any neighbors. Located close to several beaches. One obviously needs a car whilst here, but I recommend this property without reservation. Slight downside is weak internet signal that did not reach the second floor. But otherwise, it was a great stay. Patsy was quick to communicate and offer help and suggestions.

4th to 11th August 2023

Property is what we expected. Very clean and spacious. Lovely area and we were able to relax. Large communal pool and nice to meet some neighbours. No noise at all at any stage. Patsy is a very great host. Provided lots of information/recommendations prior and during our stay which was very helpful. We were not going to hire a car and Patsy recommended this. Pleased we did as it does make it easy to travel. Lots of other booklets in property too. Missing the sun, villa and the area. Highly recommend. Thank you very much Patsy!

Beautiful villa in a great location!

Great apartment! Wonderful pool and jacuzzi! Pretty view of the Portugese wind mill! Great location - just a few minutes short drive to a beatiful beach in Salema village filled with nice restaurants serving local fresh fish caught in the ocean. The place and restaurant is so popular with both locals and tourists that a reservation to Salema restaurants (Atlantico and Boia, for example) are required at least a couple of days in advance if you want to get a table in the evening. There is a very delicious restaurant called O Tiagos in the Budens village where the appartment is located - just a couple of minutes walk. But make a reservation at least one day in advance! The host Patsy is very active answering your questions and made very valuable recommendations about local places and activities to do. Air conditioniers were ineachroom of the apartment and wete very helpful in August. Our family of 6 people spent a wonderful week at the villa and we definately want to be back!

Mixed feelings

This is a mixed review, the house was spacious and bright. But it does need some TLC on furnishings etc. The house never got any morning sun so there was no where to sit and enjoy breakfast in the sun. The sun didn’t make it to the patio until after 1.30pm It’s on a corner and the wind was howling which made it too cold. The cleaning of the kitchen needs looking at. All the pots had to be washed before they could be used. The location was fabulous but obviously you need a car. Wouldn’t go back to that property but definitely the area again. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Although we never discussed our gripes.

La casa nos ofrecía todo lo que podíamos necesitar o desear. Amplitud, comodidad, servicio. No nos faltó de nada. Y Patsy es maravillosa y muy atenta. Se estropeó la lavadora y en 2 días, lavadora nueva!! Muchas gracias Patsy. Esperamos volver otro verano.

Lovely, spacious villa

The villa was lovely, very spacious and welcoming, we enjoyed our stay. We were only there a short time and in pretty awful weather, but still managed a dip in the pool between squalls. The pool is a great size and surprisingly warm at the end of October! Thank you very much for having us.
