Daniel's Sandpiper Cove 1BR Condo with Beach setup

Nice 1 BR Condo located on golf course at Sandpiper Cove Resort with beach setup for two included.
This ground floor unit sleeps 4-5 people and has a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Condo is approximately 300-350 yds.to private beach (2 minute drive or 5-6 minute walk) and 30-40yds. to one of the resort's 5 swimming pools. Free 9 hole par 3 golf course to all renters. Great location in the heart of Destin and the beautiful emerald beaches of the Gulf coast. Two HD televisions (one in bedroom), all towels and linens supplied. (Condo has a double bed and a twin bed in the BR, a single bed in walk in closet and a large L-shaped sofa in the TV room). Condo is within walking distance of 4-5 restaurants, Super Target and Winn Dixie grocery store.

* Unfortunately, our complex issued a new ordinance in Fall of 2015 that requires our renters have at least one person in the party be 25 or over. My apologies for this requirement but the HOA has made it a rule. IDs are now required for younger renters upon check in. If a member of the rental party has served in the military or as a first responder, the age regulation can be waived.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

It was very clean very exquisite very nice day. Everything was so nice. Love the location. The only little slight complaint that I have is the shower like the tub water didn’t go out. It was kind of like standing still but other than that everything else was on point perfect love it and we’ll be back.

It was great for the 6 of us! It was about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. We loved that there was an umbrella and chairs included daily with this rental! I played a few holes of the golf course with my son, the greens are not well kept, but we still had a great time. The condo was perfect, we did have to ask for extra blankets and pillows from Sandpiper, but it wasn’t an issue. The couch is not super comfy to sleep on, just heads up. There was a foldaway bed that came in handy. We appreciated the shower near the front porch to rinse stuff off. The extra boogie boards in the closet were a lot of fun! Will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! It was a longer walk to the beach than I anticipated, but it wasn't too bad. It was about 6 minutes, and the walk over the bridge was really pretty. We watched people feed the ducks and watched Herrings catch little fish. The beach setup each day was included and was perfect. We come every year for our mother-daughter trip and stay at Sandpiper Cv. It's quiet, peaceful, and we have never had a bad experience.

I am a film maker/video producer based out of Atlanta,GA and have 2 rental properties in the Destin area (both located in Sandpiper Cove). I have been vacationing in Destin since I was a child back in 1977 and have seen a lot of changes to Destin over the years. My family and I continue to enjoy our trips to Destin and hope you enjoy it as much as we have thru the years.

Why they chose this property

We looked all over Destin when deciding to buy a rental property in the area and it all came back to the wonderful feel we had when staying at Sandpiper Cove. The private beach, par 3 golf course placed in between the units and the pools and tennis courts on the grounds made it a warm, family friendly resort in the heart of Destin. Also, the 24 hour security in the complex make Sandpiper Cove a safe haven in the Destin area.

What makes this property unique

In addition to the wonderful amenities, an onsite restaurant (Louisiana Lagniappe) and marina are two additional features of Sandpiper Cove that renters can benefit from. There is also a boat loading area in the complex for those that may want to bring boats down to the Destin area (you may want to check with the rental office if needing to tie the boat up, as there are a few restrictions there). The location in the heart of Destin is also a huge benefit (Sandpiper Cove is in the town of Destin very close to some of the areas best restaurants and shopping areas and located on the Destin Harbor as well as walking distance to the Gulf.)
