Highly recommended! Great value! Perfect Tahoe vacation home! Great layout for couples or families...comfortable furnishings...well equipped kitchen...washer & dryer. A nice 6-person dining table gave us plenty of room for card playing, Mexican Train, and working on a jigsaw puzzle. Close to a lot of good restaurants, grocery & other shopping, hiking, beaches and other beautiful Tahoe destinations. The host is the BEST! He provided great instructions and responded to questions promptly. One hint: Maps told us to turn left into the complex at the first entrance. However, the unit is closer to the 2nd entrance, so ignore Maps, continue up the hill on Ski Way and go in at the Main entrance which is across the street from Tomahawk St.
The condo was the best place we’ve stayed at at Lake Tahoe. It has great bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. It’s less than a mile from Diamond Peak Ski Resort. The host was very friendly and gave me useful information when I asked about navigating during the upcoming snowstorm.
This very well maintained property is in a great location. Our family of four found it to be very spacious. Communication and checkin/out with the owner was very easy. Only suggestion would be to add a BBQ and a table and chairs to eat at on one of the two nice decks.

Thank you very much for the review and staying with us. The large deck has 4 patio chairs and a few tables. Maybe they were folded on the side of the large deck and less visible. I totally agree with a BBQ, but fire regulations are very restrictive after last couple fire seasons and very hard to manage it with guests. Better safe than sorry!
Again, appreciate your comments.
Big, clean and very nice overall. The location is incredible if you’re skiing at Diamond Peak. It’s literally a 2 min drive to the resort and the Hyatt is super close too for gambling. We will definitely be back!
Our stay was great! The community is quiet and the house was perfect for the 6 of us. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and communication avout the unit was very clear. I would highly recommend! Great price!
This house looks better in person than the picture. The upstairs family room/kitchen area is the best part. Very spacious with great views. Conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants.
The host was very prompt with responses.
Overall, great place for a family!
Shoulder season is really peaceful at Tahoe. This unit is. North east of Tahoe and we used the time to discover and hike around lessknown beaches on the east side of Tahoe.
We had a great time and the unit had everything that we needed and more. The property owner communicated very well and was very helpful when we had questions. We were pleasantly surprised by the connected TV setup (Sling, Roku). Everything was as described and was a great value. Would highly recommend.
My family and I had a great time on our recent winter trip to Lake Tahoe. Great location in Incline Village that is walking distance to the Diamond Peak shuttle. Kids loved the patio and views of the Lake. While it was cold outside, heaters quickly warmed the home. Lots of seating and space to lounge and relax after a day of snow play. Check in/out and communication with host was easy and smooth. We’ll be back soon :)
Nice stay but some small upgrades would go a long way
We love incline and have stayed at other units in the same complex that we have enjoyed very much. Although the unit was clean, the mattresses were very hard, the sheets were old and pilled, and the towels were small. The rooms could all use more/better lighting as things felt dark. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! The TVs had Roku which we enjoyed while in our downtime and the WiFi worked great for our kids! Thanks for the nice time!

Thanks for your comments; I purchased 4 new sets of linens after your stay. I also brought in one extra lamp for each of the bedrooms. The lighting upstairs is very good and it’s always easy to bring one of the tree lamp stands to any of the bedrooms.
The mattresses are firm as many (like myself) believe that's better for back pains. This could be a bit of taste difference and a bit hard to change.
Thanks again for staying with us!

For the price paid, expected more. Unit was not very clean. Appliances were old. Couch smelled. Windows had not been cleaned in a while. Fridge had cobwebs. Whole place needed to be refreshed. Had rodent problem and it took several days for host to get exterminator out.

These folks rented this unit for 2 months in high season. They were Ungrateful guests with unreasonable expectations!
Price:
The rent they paid was long term rates for the area but included all utilities and fully furnished unit. So basically below long term rate, so I’m not clear of their complaint here!
Cleaning:
After they checked in I asked and they said all is good (I have the email). After a few weeks they complained and I offered to send the cleaning crew at my expense; they refused (I have the email). If you stay at a mountain place for two months either you should clean regularly or request additional cleaning like my other guests.
Rodents:
They complained half way and immediately called the highest rated service in the area. Their first availability was in a couple of days. He did a full inspection and said there is nothing wrong or actionable beyond what was done. He didn’t even charge me. They were listening to the conversation. Again, complaining is not clear.
They also complained multiple times about internet (which just required power up).
I often encourage my guests to contact me if there is any issues but these guys chose the other path. My rates are also the lowest in the area (bcz this is not the main source of my income and I prefer to get better guests). This time it didn’t work for me but most of the times it does and that’s why this review is so different from others.
This place was great to stay in! There were a few minor things but those were addressed and taken care of. One thing I would have liked is a little softer of a bed. But overall great place!
Overall our stay was good. The place was quiet. But the smoke detector in large bedroom was gone, Bathroom light out downstairs, Bathroom conditioner didn't work downstairs, No garbage bags provided, No information on what to do with linens, Coffee filters are cone shaped, the small room could use a dresser or a bar for longer clothing and the lamp shade is broken.

Thank you for taking time to write a review, but smoke detector in the master is NOT gone. It is simply moved to the corner shelf in the room. There is a CO and smoke detector 2 feet from the master entrance, so it makes sense to space them. There are a total of 6 detectors in the unit that should be more than enough to meet the guidelines.
Both dispenser for conditioner seem to be working; sometimes you need to tap it.
Thanks for the info on the broken shade; we replaced it + reminded the cleaning crew to leave garbage bags.
We strongly encourage guests to simply ask if they have any minor issues or misunderstandings like smoke detector. It would have been very easy to remedy or answer all these questions.
Great location if you're looking to visit anything spanning South Shore to Kings Beach area. This is an older condo but well maintained with some upgrades throughout.

About the host
Hosted by Tahoe Diamond
I taught both my kids to ski at Diamond peak ski resort nearby. I sure hope you enjoy staying at our place as we do!
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with the lake view from the deck when I saw this property. Incline village is one of the few areas you can enjoy both mountains and the beach. Pine trees outside the unit are growing fast, but we can still get a glimpse of the lake from the living room!
What makes this property unique
Winter: ski at a number of nearby resorts Summer: relax on the lake + enjoy a large pool of summer activities Fall and spring: bike, hike, casinos, and restaurants! Tahoe is less crowded (and more peaceful) than usual during fall and spring.
