This rental is a hidden gem. The location is perfect. The host is very accommodating and communication is quick and efficient. The property is fantastic and even better than the pictures. Location. The property is situated in the perfect location - 1 block from the main strip with bars, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is quiet and the outdoor space is very private. Property. Cool little spot.

This place is walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. Backyard is nice and private, cleaning requirements are reasonable and the owner was responsive and laid back. You can walk to the beach but it’s a bit of a hike back up if you’re out of shape, but still doable.

Good location. Owner reached out to us with a known issue and provided a partial refund, which was great. The bbq needs some attention and we had to clean the coffee pot. Other than that it was a good place to stay, a street awaynfrom charming shops and restaurants.

Nice comfortable apartment

We enjoyed our stay. The back garden was the highlight, but unfortunately it was unseasonably cool so we weren’t able to get full benefit from its use. The only real negative was the absence of bedside lighting and substantial bedside tables - seem like obvious things to expect from an apartment rental. All and all we had an enjoyable stay.

If I could make everyday sunny, I would. Unfortunately I do not control the weather. There are currently two bedside tables alongside a kingsized bed

Better than the pictures

This really is a fantastic vacation getaway. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. I thought from the pictures it might be a little, dirty and dated, but it was anything but. Spotless clean plenty of room. Super comfy, beds, and couch! And outdoor spot is such an added bonus. So centrally located, but still quiet. There were zero issues, so I didn’t really have any communication with the owner, except he did let us have a later check out so we could go to the beach. Will definitely be back.

February in San Clemente

My wife and I stayed here for 12 days. This one-bedroom apartment worked well for us. It has plenty of space with a nice private patio with hot tub and entertaining area. The location in the heart of old town San Clemente was pretty quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. The dishwasher was old and didn't clean too well, but everything else worked. Jason was responsive to our needs and furnished plenty of towels.

Very nice place

Nice place. Easy walking distance (less than a block) to shops and restaurants in town. The beach and pier is only a 15 minute walk and there is a free trolley to take you there and back. San Clemente is a cute town and is not inundated with tourists like Carmel or Laguna Beach. I recommend it and this place.
