We had a wonderful stay- loved how all bedrooms were upstairs or downstairs with the middle floor for meals and visiting. The deck off the master bedroom was a great place to sit and admire the elevated view and enjoy the quiet. Kitchen was well equipped and the location was great- we look forward to next year!

A very clean and well stocked interior, and a stunning yard, with killer views. The property is set on a quiet street, in a nice neighborhood with plenty of options for dining close by, as well as grocery stores and markets to stock up and food and drink, should you want to stay in. The yard is the main attraction here. You have direct water access, with 4 kayaks on-site with everything you'd need to enjoy a day on the water or at the beach. A quick paddle will get you to the beach, which is the route we took daily. Overall a wonderful and peaceful escape

My extended family and I had a wonderful getaway at Leslie’s home. It was very well-appointed and had plenty of room for 9 adults and our toddler. We took advantage of the kayaks, the easy walk to Ocean Beach, and the proximity to Harkness Memorial State Park. The professional-size fridge/freezer was a pleasant surprise and a huge help, since we made almost all of our meals ourselves. The balconies were so lovely for al fresco dining or just taking in the views. The view is even more stunning than it seems from the pictures. Thank you for putting together a lovely home, Leslie!

Well stocked including kitchen accessories and bath/beach towels and intriguing design inside and out but overpriced for the value. No master bath; downstairs screens and windows need cleaning and no screen on master bedroom slider; interior and exterior trim chipped and peeling so need painting; outside bar top was green from moss. Great potential but needs sprucing up or price drop.

Great property

We never knew how fantastic the CT coast could be! This house had it all! The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. I've stayed in many rentals around the world and this property was by far the best stocked with everything; cookware, linens, toys, beach equipment, outside furniture and more. The location was perfect for families, a short drive, walk or kayak trip to multiple beaches and playgrounds! Our family had so much fun searching for crabs, fish and periwinkles. We would love to come back again!

Lots of space!

We had a wonderful stay while in town for our son’s graduation from USCGA! Plenty of rooms to spread out. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every gadget, pot, pan, etc. you could possibly need. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly for us to fully enjoy the outdoor space.

This is our 4th year staying here. Nine of us from all over the country gather every year for Ocean Beach Park Polka days. This house has it all. There is plenty of room for us to gather together for dinner or to get away. The outdoor space is relaxing and perfect for an afternoon cocktail. The house was very nice and had everything you need. The outdoor patio was gorgeous and so peaceful in the morning. The house had a coffee station with coffee cup coffee maker and hot cocoa! The desk and charging station was very useful in the main living space. The only minus I had was a severe lack of cell coverage in the area and bad network connectivity upstairs. If you need to work at all you will need to stay on the main floor and near a window and hope. If you are going to unplug and relax, this house is perfect for you!

Lots of Wildlife and Quiet Morning Coffee on the Deck

Great home for families or multiple couples. Plenty of space and areas to retreat to. Excellent decor and endless ammenties. Excellent place for a family with grandparents, young kids, or multiple couples w/ kids. We had a great time Labor Day weekend and everything we needed was there. Location wasn't my favorite, having stayed in Mystic earlier in the summer this house was further away from the things we wanted to go to. Ocean Beach Park was convenient to walk to but I found it slightly dirty and a bit trashy. We took the kids one day and I won't be returning on nay future trips (the beach and water were beautiful but the crowd was "rough", the rides weren't exactly open and the food places were all closed, it was a bizarre place). The home was awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Really appreciate the hospitality of Kelley and the warmth we all felt in her home. Thank you for a great stay!!

Ocean beach is closed for the season so they may not be fully staffed. Next time you're in the area, you’ll have to try Waterford Beach, it's within walking distance in the other direction. It was great having you all at The Ridgewood house."

This house was great! The patio was amazing! So peaceful in the morning and evening to sit and watch the sun rise or set. Very convenient location. House is well laid out and has everything you need. Coffee station with k-cup brewer was a nice touch. Charging station in main living space was so appreciated! Only slight detractor was there is no cell coverage in this area. None. If you are looking to fully disconnect that is great! We needed to keep some work going so this was a small annoyance. Also, the Wi-Fi is there but not strong and did not stay connected upstairs well. Just something to note if you need to stay connected. House was perfect though and we’d stay again. Thanks!

Beautiful home!

We spent Family Weekend at the USCGA with our Cadet and this house was perfect for us! Loved the decor, ambiance, being on the water and the views were beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen was great, charger station was very helpful, and having three full baths was HUGE! You can't beat the living areas and bedrooms. Leslie was very gracious to us. We all agreed this is where we want to stay the next time we return!

This home is very nicely decorated and very well equipped. The home has some nice amenities, such as being located on a cove, ample parking and quiet street. We enjoyed going to Mystic, Rocky Neck State Park, take-out from Fred’s Seafood Shanty, and took a trip to Watch Hill, RI. We missed getting a reservation to do the Lighthouse Tour about the Cross Sound Ferry (book in advance). It is hard to keep floors clean in a vacation home, so we did notice the effects of that. Everything else inside was very clean. The outside area could use some cleaning of dead leaves and dead plants in planters. Overall, we had an awesome visit and would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing beach house!

The house had all the bells and whistles! We stayed with another family who also had small kids, and the upstairs and downstairs felt like two separate rentals. The middle floor and awesome outdoor spaces served as the common areas. Multiple beaches are within walking distance, including one that had a boardwalk! The outdoor bar area had direct access to a nice cove for where the kids could swim. We also kayaked (brought our own but I believe there are some available for a fee) across the cove to a playground for the kids to use. The adults also kayaked from the cove to the sound. Couldn’t ask for a better house and area for families with small children! Our contact for the property, Leslie, was very responsive and helpful too!

Perfect summer vacation house!

Beautiful house with all the bells and whistles; it even has an outdoor shower tucked inside vines! We stayed with another family and the upstairs and downstairs each felt like their own private rentals and the middle floor and outdoor areas served as a common hang out area. Walking distance to multiple beaches (one with a boardwalk). The house also had direct access to a cove that we used to kayak directly into the sound (we brought our own kayaks but I believe there are also some available for a fee). Family friendly house and location too; directly across the cove is a playground you can easily kayak over to play on with the kids.
