Check in was great. The heat did not work on the main floor and only blew cool air. The heat upstairs started working on the second night. Luckily we had good weather. The middle slat of the master bed was broken and made sleep difficult and woke up sore every morning. My husband slept better on the couch than on the bed. We had a great time, just wished we didn’t have issues.
The property was extremely clean and comfortable, had every amenity we could need, and was very convenient to downtown Asheville. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
We had a wonderful stay at Megan’s place! The home was cozy and welcoming, and Megan was a great host. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness and the guest book’s instructions. There were a few small things we noticed during our stay, which Megan kindly mentioned she’d look into: the laundry room had some garbage left when we arrived, the blinds in the downstairs bedroom were broken, and the bedside lamp on the right side of the downstairs bed wasn’t working. My parents also noticed that the downstairs bed had a noticeable sink in the middle, which might be something to check for future guests. Additionally, we noticed that the fan lights throughout the house weren’t functioning properly—the fan would turn on, but we had to manually switch the fan off to turn the light on. Hopefully, this will be an easy fix for future guests. One small suggestion that could be helpful for older guests is adding slip strips on the stairs for extra safety. Unfortunately, checked out a day early, due to a family emergency. Despite that, we’re so grateful for the hospitality and had a truly wonderful time. Thank you again, Megan—we wish you the best!
The home was almost as described. It is spacious, beds were comfortable, both bathrooms were clean and the washer & dryer were great. It is on a steep grade and in a great location. The home is in a great location and had easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. We were working at Camp Cedar Cliff, on the Billy Graham Training Center Campus, building tiny homes for people displaced by the flooding. This home was only about 5 miles from the camp.
Thank You for having this home open with a reasonable price. It was awesome!

Beatiful location
This was our first time renting a vacation home in Asheville and it was a wonderful experience. The home was very clean and well furnished.
Everyone was very comfortable!
We loved it. Looking forward to our next vacation.
Thank you!
Second time to rent this property as I love the neighborhood and the closeness to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore Estate, a grocery store, a couple gas stations, and downtown Asheville. Very peaceful setting and this time was thrilled to see a black bear walk past the house on his way to forage for food in the woods. Would rent again if visiting Asheville in the future.

Great property
This is a great property; well stocked and clean. Beds are firm, which we loved. Could use more towels for extended stays. The only downside to this property was the stairs. They were extremely slippery when wearing socks which was hazardous.
15 minutes to Ashville and 5 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway. It is up on a hill, and parking is limited. There is no easy way to get in from lower level parking.
The property looks new and is very clean. Property manager is responsive. Good place for a family, especially with older children
The mattresses were not great - especially in the downstairs bedroom (we turned it over or wouldn't have been able to stay there). And we could have used more hand towels. Otherwise, it worked very well for us - 6 adults, Kitchen was well equipped, grill was great, house was clean and well located for us near family and very close to the Blue Ridge.

Fantastic stay!
I stayed with old friends for 3 nights and had a great time. The location was excellent: a short drive from everything we wanted to do but tucked away so we felt relaxed. The two living spaces were great. Although we mostly stayed upstairs, the option to split up was helpful. The house was very clean and had most of what we needed. We used some of the area suggestions she gave for food and were never disappointed. The Ingles grocery savings card was also a nice touch. I contacted Megan once during our stay and she responded immediately and helped solve the issue. Overall, an excellent trip. We all agreed we'd definitely stay there again and have already recommended Megan's house to friends.
Great location! Centrally located to Asheville, the Biltmore estate and Blue Ridge Mountains. Owner of the property is super nice and the check-in and check-out is easy. Home is really clean and well equipped for everything you need.
The beds are comfortable and the 2 bathrooms are a great size. Some of the cons are the steep and slippery wooden stairs going up to the 2nd level of the home. Carpeting the stairs and adding additional lighting would be a great idea. The two sofas in the home are old and lumpy and it wouldn't cost the owner much to replace them. Would be great if the blinds in the house were replaced as they are old and dont provide adequate privacy. All in all, it's a great place! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!!

Girls Soccer Weekend
This was a perfect find for us. We had a last minute notice that our tournament was moved from Gatlinburg, TN to Asheville and that there was limited hotel options for a reasonable price. So I immediately thought about finding a home for the weekend. It was perfect. We were able to get to our fields very easily, do some sight seeing, eat at amazing places and come back and play board games or just chat. As parents, we voted this our favorite weekend of travel soccer.
The house was perfect for the girls and the parents. We really just used it to sleep and relax in but had we planned better, we certainly could have cooked, as the kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room to enjoy a meal. There was enough blankets, pillows, towels, etc so there is no need to bring these. I love that there were two nice living room areas, this allowed the parents to sit and talk while the girls played upstairs.
The only reason this is a 4 star is that we could not figure out how to get the cable box to come on upstairs, this would have helped getting the girls to sleep as they all camped out in this room. Since it was the weekend, we didn't expect the cable company to come out. Additionally, we had a lot of lightbulbs out throughout the house and this made getting settled in a bit hard since we got in after dark. Other than that, this was a great house, great location and we would totally stay here again!
Perfect for our 40th annual Girl's Trip. We were 10 -20 minutes from everyplace visited, with easy navigation using Google maps. The home was nicely appointed with everything we needed. Extra bonus two nice sitting areas for hanging out. The only heads up is the neighborhood access road is a little steep (we are from flat Florida, so it is relatative). There is a slight bump in the road at the last turn to the house. In the dark it may take you by surprise. Would absolutely recommend staying here. Communication with Megan and ease of property access were perfect.
The two washrooms and two living rooms with televisions made this place very comfortable for our Thanksgiving family gathering. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and clean.
Pleasant location near blue ridge pkwy as well as
Biltmore estates and Asheville arboretum
Home was very clean and everything worked from stove to wifi.
Beds were comfortable enough and the home had ample space.
Would stay here again if in the area😊
The house is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and a short drive to downtown. We had fun family time and plenty of room for 5 adults. There were plenty of towels, two full baths and the kitchen was well equipped. Lighting was dim, higher wattage bulbs would help. The refrigerator bulb was burned out. The incline driveway leading to the community is narrow but fortunately we did not meet any cars going the opposite direction. The parking was tight with a Ford Explorer & Dodge Grand Caravan. We tried the backyard parking but it was too precarious. Master bed starts to flip up if two people sit at the foot and one side was lumpy. Darkening shades would help to block the all night light from the neighbors' garage. The master closet was handy. Host was very responsive. Easy to find, close to I-40.
Located in a very peaceful and friendly neighborhood. We were close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking and close to town for the wedding we were in Asheville to attend. I will be back and will rent this property again.
A very relaxing space to spend time with family. Just wish there were more towels and toiletries (paper products) to have available. Overall, a wonderful stay.
We had an amazing stay here! The house was super clean and accommodated us amazingly. I definitely recommend this house and will be staying here on our next trip.
