Very nice place

Beautiful house. Everything you need is there. The place where you can eat outside is an ideal spot, it is always pleasant there even in very hot weather. We really recommended this house. Owners are very friendly. Only point to take into account is that you always have to drive a long way for groceries or excursions.

Fabulous property

Beautiful house in a quiet scenic setting. Real get away from it all. Finished to a high standard.The owner was very welcoming and on hand if anything was ever needed. Even provided vegetables and olive oil from his own garden. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it. Good facilities and lovely restaurant near by.

Beautiful relaxing villa stay

We loved this villa - it was very comfortable and well equipped and we loved the pool with its beautiful views. Fabio the owner was very friendly and made us very welcome. The location is rather remote - there isn't really anything in Vigneta and you need to drive to the nearest shop and restaurant. However, we were very happy relaxing in the villa and round the pool so this didn't really impact on us.

una casa bella e perfetta!

I have stayed in many many places in Italy and this was one of my best experiences. The home is spacious, clean, has everything you need to make meals and relax. We toured the area everyday and came back to swim in the evening, and I made simple meals and served them at the outside table, just perfect. I also had to finish some research and write a paper while I was there and found it very comfortable to work in the evenings and wifi was excellent. The views are unbelievable. Fabio and his wife are available and very kind. The restaurant in Pieve San Lorenzo is very very good and close and inexpensive.

Super Martini

Villa Martini is a very interesting, warm and beautiful place to stay. The setting, amongst the vinyards, on the edge of the hamlet, and with a glorious view of the mountains, is one to treasure, and the villa itself brims with thought and feeling, so we all found a favourite feature - a picture, a hatstand, it is really very charming. Your host is very welcoming, kind and considerate, and his garden produce will enhance your pasta sauce. The property was very clean, and all fixtures and fittings were in good working order. I would definitely recommend this villa. Super!

Privacy!

Our family of six adults had a wonderful stay at Villa Martini. The privacy of the pool and the beautiful and quiet surroundings were the biggest plus. Sunbeds for everybody was an additional thumbs up! The house was beautifully renovated in good materials and one could tell the owner had put his heart and soul into it. The bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. We spent our days by the pool and did not visit the tourist attractions but there are plenty nearby. Only went out to pick up pizzas at a local restaurant and shop for groceries. We all would like to come back as this was one of the best holiday villas we have ever stayed in!

Perfect peace in the Tuscan hills

The villa is set in the most beautiful surroundings, truly away from it all. It was very spacious and clean with everything you need. Fabio visited with fresh vegetables and advice on the local area, he was very helpful even printed off the train timetable for us. The village is small and the locals are very friendly. We came across Bepe on one of our walks, he lives behind the vineyard and offered us wine to taste which was very kind. The local bar is well worth a visit or two, the barman gave us free pizza and snacks with out drinks. The bread lady calls daily, it took us a couple of days to work out that we had to put the bag and money (2€) on the gate. She spoke some English and left our order daily. The train in Aulla is about a 25min drive but just a few euros to go to some beautiful places, Riomaggiore and Lucca were our favourite. The best part of the holiday was laying by the pool and taking in the views all around, wonderful.

Wir hatten mit zwei Familien einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Martini. Fabio ist ein toller Gastgeber, jederzeit ansprechbar und stets bereit zu helfen. Gelegentlich bringt er frische Tomaten und Trauben aus seinem Garten vorbei :-).Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind schön und praktisch eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten, aber dort lässt sich bei schlechtem Wetter auch hervorragend essen.Der Blick vom Haus und die Umgebung sind phantastisch!

Het was een prachtige villa voor 8 personen. Heel ruim, schoon en alle ruimten mooi opgeknapt. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en de keuken goed voorzien van alle benodigdheden.De omgeving is prachtig, groene bergen vanuit elke hoek van het huis te zien, mooie grote buitenruimte om het huis en heerlijke rust. Het zwembad is ruim, schoon en prettig met kinderen (omheind en met hek). Op korte afstand zijn wat mooie dorpjes en heerlijke restaurants. De eigenaar Fabio en zijn vrouw zijn een geweldige gastheer en -vrouw. Zij hebben ons verblijf extra prettig gemaakt. Wij hebben een heerlijk ontspannen vakantie gehad.

Formidable séjour dans la villa Martini ! Depuis le petit village de Vigneta, perdu au calme dans le cadre magnifique des montagnes, on peut découvrir une région sublime : Gramolazzo, La Spezia et les Cinque Terre (à ne pas manquer !) sont à proximité, et Parme et Lucques un peu plus loin (un peu moins de deux heures de voiture).La maison, d'une propreté irréprochable, est très accueillante avec ses chambres spacieuses, la grande table sous la tonnelle et la piscine avec une vue incroyable sur les Alpes apuanes. Fabio et sa femme sont des hôtes chaleureux, attentifs et extrêmement sympathiques. Nous reviendrons volontiers !

Hervorragender Ort zum Entspannen

Das Objekt befindet sich ca. 30 min Autofahrt von der nächst größeren Stadt mit Einkaufszentren. Es liegt in einem sehr idyllischen kleinen Dorf. Im Nachbarort gibt es eine Bar und einen Bodega für Einkäufe des Täglichen Bedarfs. Die Vermieter sind unheimlich nett und geben sich alle Mühe, das die Gäste einen schönen Aufenthalt haben. Das Haus und Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt. Es ist sehr ruhig und man kann entspannen und am Pool liegen.

Tolles Haus

Wir haben mit einem befreundeten Pärchen und unseren Kindern zwei schöne Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Das Objekt ist gut ausgestattet und super gepflegt. Alles ist neuwertig und wurde vor Kurzem renoviert. Alle Fenster waren mit Insektenschutz ausgestattet. Man benötigt definitv ein Auto. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig nur schlecht zu erreichen. Der Pool mit separatem Poolhaus und Kühlschrank ist ein Highlight. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in der Nord Toskana

Das Haus ist frisch renoviert und sehr sauber. Es gibt sogar eine eLadesäule (es fehlen wohl noch ein paar Teile), die noch nicht in Betrieb ist. Der Pool und um den Pool herum ist es sehr sauber und auch der Vermieter kommt alle 1-2 Tage und sieht nach dem rechten und reinigt den Pool. Beim Pool gibt es noch ein Poolhaus, in dem die Auflagen für die Liegen und die Schirme verstaut sind + es gibt einen Kühlschrank, dadurch muss man nicht jedesmal ins Haus laufen um Getränke zu hohlen, sehr angenehm. Der nächste Bäcker befindet sich in einem kleinem Supermarkt in Casola, wo auch Frischwurst oder sonstiges noch gekauft werden kann. Der Vermieter kommt regelmässig und ansonsten ist auch die Kommunikation mit ihm (z.B. via Whats app) perfekt - er hat auch immer Tips auf Lager für Unternehmungen + er hat uns das ein oder andere "eingemachte" mitgebracht ! Die Küche ist perfekt und modern eingerichtet (nahezu neu) inkl. kaum abgenutzem Equipment. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen in den Bergern der Nord Toskana - die Wege sind dadurch alle etwas länger. die nächste Autobahnauffahrt ist ca. 30 min entfernt und sehr kurvig - dafür wohnt man jedoch mitten in der Natur. Aber sobald man auf der Autobahn ist, hat man zugang zu den Perlen der Nord Toskana La Spezia (1h), Pisa (1 h) oder Cique Terre (1,5h) oder die Stränder bei Pisa - nahezu Perfekt. TIPP: rechtzeitig aufstehen und die Städte anfahren, dann hält sich der Touristische Trouble in Grenzen. Zu empfehlen wäre noch unbedingt das Restaurant Il Borghetto in Pieve san lorenzo (ca. 5 min. mit dem Auto) - unbedingt vorher reservieren und man kann auch bei schlechtem Wetter draussen sitzen (ist gut Überdacht). Wir machen "Ferienhaus" Urlaub seit ca. 8 Jahren, jedes Jahr, dieses Haus war definitiv eines der Besten, die wir hatten.

Wunderbare Urlaubstage in Villa Martini

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in einem kleinen Dorf. Super eingerichtet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Neue Fenster mit Moskitoschutz, nagelneue Küche mit allem was man zum Kochen benötigt. Das Haus verfügt über eine Klimaanlage, die wir aber aufgrund der Beschaffenheit des Hauses gar nicht benötigt haben. Wunderbarer Garten mit schönen schattigen Sitzplätzen und einem tollen Pool mit perfekter Größe. Der Besitzer ist ein toller Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar, wenn man Fragen zu Ausflügen etc. hatte, der ganz diskret morgens den Pool morgens reinigt und uns frische Sachen aus seinem Garten mitgebracht hat. Dankeschön!! Das nächste Dorf ist zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, dort kann man wunderbar in der Bar La Torre Kaffee trinken. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt der vieles für den täglichen Bedarf anbietet und eine Apotheke. Für den größeren Einkauf bietet sich Aulla an, in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Rural Tuscany at its best

Our second trip to northern Tuscany and what a delight. The villa was immaculate and the pool and all facilities top class. Fresh bread and vegetables across the road each morning and butcher and supermarket within easy reach by car. Fabio was fantastic and really helpful.

Lovely house and pool in beautiful surroundings

This is a spacious and well equipped villa with a fine pool and fabulous views. There are three outdoor seating areas, one of which provides deep shade when wanted. The pool is in full sun, big enough and deep enough to swim in and beautifully lit at night. Fabio, the owner is charming, and greeted us with tomatoes, basil and his own olive oil which is better than anything you can buy. There is a friendly bar two minutes away which has lovely owners and provided my son with English football on request (so long as it didn't clash with the Juventus game). Casola, a short drive away (or three quarters of an hour by footpath) has a little supermarket that stocks everything you need. If you like walking the surroundings are beautiful and there is a network of well-marked footpaths. The local restaurants are remarkably good and inexpensive, notably, in my experience, Il Borghetto in San Lorenzo and Da Remo in Monzone. Having discovered that weekday lunches usually cost 10 Euros a head including wine (at the nearby Lo Spino Fiorito for instance) even my father wanted to go out. Not very many non-Italian tourists have found this gorgeous place which provides a taste of genuine Italy and to which I very much hope to return. Highly recommended.

A spacious home with gorgeous views

3 generations, from 4 years old to 65 years old, enjoyed their stay. The swimming pool and surround was a delight.

What a beautiful place.Lovely location if you want peace and quietness and you have a pool

Villa Martine is just lovely,clean and beautiful.Fabio is lovely to so friendly came every day to clean the pool,brought us little gift most days like his own made olive oil courgette

A real taste of Italy

This was our third time at Villa Martini, and hopefully won’t be our last. Beautiful house and garden..very clean and well maintained. Lots of lovely local restaurants in surrounding area, great food at very reasonable price.. grocery van with fresh products comes every other day and bread van on a daily basis.. very friendly bar/cafe 2 minutes away..Fabio as always is the perfect host, arriving with his homegrown tomatoes and grapes.. also his own produced olive oil.. very helpful and full of local knowledge.. if you want a taste of authentic Italy , this is the perfect place to stay..
