Relaxing Casita With Hot Tub Near The Broadmoor

Our beautiful and cozy Casa Hovel, located a hop away from the Ivywild eateries, a skip from the Broadmoor and a jump from downtown, is the ultimate place to stay for your next trip to Colorado Springs. This home is unlike any other you have experienced. Built in order to sustain efficient living, Casa Hovel has a unique, southwestern feel. The adobe exterior, colorful tiles, kiva fireplace and ceiling vigas will leave you feeling comforted and relaxed for your entire stay. While the home does include two bedrooms and one and a half baths, each bedroom is located in a separate building, accommodating the privacy of our guests.
The main "casa" has a front courtyard decorated with red adirondack chairs, water fountain and is scattered with vibrant wild flowers. Each house has a covered patio for early morning coffees, long talks, games and summer night cocktails. But don't worry, for those cold winter days, there are warm robes and a hot tub to warm up cold toes and each house is equipped with a quaint fireplace. For those more athletically inclined, the home has a spacious yard and is right down the road from Cheyenne Mountain Canyon where tourists and townies alike go to hike, bike and sightsee. Not to mention the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Tinseltown movie theater and Broadmoor bowling alley are all close by if you are traveling with children. The home has soft natural lighting, stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer. The "casa" has a new walk-in shower and the "casita" has a powder room. Pets are welcome once approved with an extra fee. All in all, your visit to Colorado Springs would not be complete without a stay at Casa Hovel.

We rented this for a girls trip and it was wonderful with the two Casasas! The location was great, We spent time in the hot tub every day after hiking. When we arrived it was easy to check in. Our host checked in on us to make sure if we needed anything. Would Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay

The two casitas were absolutely charming!!! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the shower was great. The small space had a very cozy feel and we loved the built in bed….great for reading and napping!! The hot tub was a big draw for us and being pet friendly, as we brought our dogs along for the trip. They loved the fenced in backyard. The only downside was that the road noise was constant and noisy, as it’s located on a main road. If you’re a light sleeper like me, it could be problematic. I turned on the AC unit and tv and that helped.All in all, a lovely place to stay!!

Perfect stay close to ALL things Manitou Springs! This casita was proximate to every adventure we had including:GOTG, the Pikes Peak Cog, Red Rock Canyon Park & hiking, Garden of the gods trading post, Old Colorado City and downtown Manitou Springs shopping. Oh & so convenient to 24 we hopped up to Pike NF for a hike and Woodland Park shopping and restaurants within minutes. Don't hesitate, book it now! Note: while we did not bring our dog, it is a perfect layout for pets with a privacy-fenced in yard.

We are originally from Oklahoma but always longed to live in the "west". After finishing our education (University of Florida, University of Oklahoma and Duke University), we moved to Colorado Springs in 2002. It is hard to imagine living anywhere else. We have four children, ages 21-12, and love the out of doors. We would love to make you feel at home and get the most out of your time in Colorado! Why they chose this property

This piece of property is one we have always admired and have been curious about. When it went on the market, we jumped at the chance to be the care takers of such a wonderful, special place. We can't wait to share it.

What makes this property unique

This is a unique property, as you will see if you stay here. The layout of the two "casitas" is very unusual and affords two couples or family lots of privacy and feels like a small compound. The yard, porches and outdoor living spaces are magical, and the inside living is so quaint and cozy with natural light from the skylights. It feels very safe and reminds me of my favorite smaller spaces as a child. I think that is why we fell in love with it. There is also the fact that it is so close to so many incredible, outdoor colorado experiences and seeing the Broadmoor up close and personal. Of course, sitting in the hot tub and taking it all in, is the icing on the cake for me.
