Our cabin features a large deck overlooking the lake, and is only 30 feet from the shore. The shoreline is gravel and is shallow for the first 25ft making it a great place to play in the water.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 twin bed), kitchen, and living room (pull out couch) which walks out onto the 200+ sq ft deck. The cabin is a cozy 800 sq ft but can host a surprising number of people for its size. We love this cabin for water skiing and playing on the lake. Its located on one of the calmest areas on the lake and we water ski and play right in front of the cabin. Bone lake is a great fishing lake, and you can catch plenty of pan fish off the dock.
Our neighbors are quiet and family oriented. We expect our guests to be the same and respect our great neighbors. We are not interested in renting to anyone looking to party or be loud at night.
A 1500lb water mat and kayak are available to use. Room on the dock for you to bring a boat.
Bone Lake is a 1667 acre lake. It is a 4.8 mile boat ride from one end of the lake to the other. It has a maximum depth of 43 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike.
We have yearly inspections and are a licensed rental property with Polk County, Wisconsin. This includes yearly drinking water tests.

We enjoyed our stay! Lake is not busy at all. We are tucked into a nice side of the lake. Very well kept cabin. Had all that we needed to have a great time on Bone Lake!!! Owners were great communicators!
Clean and neat. Visiting friends and kids enjoyed the water.
Plans changed, so I was the only occupant of the cabin.
FYI - could only get left rear burner of gas stove to light.
The shed in which I could have placed garbage and recycling was locked.
Thanks v
The cabin is as promised. Small, but had what we needed. Deck was great and lake was small but beautiful and no crowds. Just a couple things to note that we didnt get from the listing... it is a bit of a walk from the parking to the cabin and there is an incline. Parking was ok with just the truck and our 18 foot boat, but it is a dead end and not alot of room to turn the truck and trailer around. Pictures of the dock are old and we didnt feel comfortable parking our boat at the dock as configured (bolts, ladder, no bumpers) which was disapponting and SUPER inconvenient as it meant putting the boat in and out every time we wanted to use it. Also "quiet hours" are 9pm to 9am. Didnt have any issues, but was a bit surprised to get that info the night before.
My family and I spent five nights at the Angelo cabin. We had a great time on the splendid Bone lake. The cabin had a kayak, but we ended up bringing our own so we could all explore the lake, watching the eagles, loons and other wildlife. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our kids also enjoyed both lounging and playing with the provided large swim mat. The cabin was also in a great location and took a couple of trips over to the Taylor Falls area. We were able to easily use Verizon for internet, streaming, etc as needed. We had a great stay.
This was a great property for our long weekend away. The location to the lake is great and the lake itself is wonderful as well. The space was cozy for our group and it was an overall great experience.
I stayed in Luck with my family of 4 including 2 young children. There are toys, DVDs, and yard activities to entertain the kids (and a swing!). One thing we didn’t care for was that there were 2 boats we couldn’t use on the dock, so there was hardly anywhere to swim or play in the water without being right next to a boat. Otherwise the stay was nice and we enjoyed the fire pit at night.
Owners were very cooperative and a breeze to communicate with. The property was very clean, with everything you could think of provided for your stay. Our family had a blast and a very relaxing time

Perfect week on The Lake
We grew up visiting Bone Lake every summer. It has now been years since being back on The Lake. My brother rented a house and invited up my parents and we rented this lovely cottage. Everything about our visit was just right. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and well stocked. The directions and instructions were helpful and our hosts accommodating. Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with us.
To future visitors - the cottage is indeed quite small - just as described. The deck overlooking the lake is awesome. Fishing on Bone Lake can't be beat. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place to enjoy time with family
Our family just loved this cabin. It is situated on an area of the lake that shields it from the wind from most directions which makes for an ideal location for those who enjoy voting and swimming. A bald eagle regularly perched on a white pine next to the cabin and it was amazing watching it catch fish while enjoying my morning coffee on the deck. Our children had a blast playing on and around the dock and lily pad. The accommodations were updated and cozy. I can't recommend this cabin highly enough.

About the host
Hosted by Owner/Manager
Karen and I purchased this cabin from family friends in 2015. Its was a cabin I spent quite a bit of time at, and when we found out it was going on the market we could not pass it up. Bone lake is a great size, clean, and the cabin is the perfect size for our family and hosting friends. We love to water ski, barefoot, and play behind the boat. We love the lake and want our two kids Aubrey and Xander to grow up enjoying the lake too! - Ryan
Why they chose this property
This is the ideal cabin for water sports. The skiing takes place in front of the cabin, and anyone that is not in the boat gets to see everything from the deck. The cabin is literally 30' from the lake and makes it so easy to run in and out of the water all day.
What makes this property unique
Water-mat, kayak, fire pit, and sand bar 200 yards from the cabin.
