Beautiful vacation home in a quiet location

We spent 2 weeks in Veuvey sur Ouche and were completely thrilled. The house is very lovingly furnished, and has everything you need on holiday. It is very cosy and offers space to relax when the weather is not so good. We had a cold and rainy first week and really enjoyed the hours relaxing with a cup of tea on the sofa. The location is perfect for excursions to Dijon or Beaune. Our hosts were very friendly and always helpful when we had a question, We would go on holiday there again at any time

Ideal für Radfahrer

Nur wenige Meter zum Canal de Bourgogne machen dieses Haus für Radfahrer interessant. Es iegt nicht direkt an den berühmen Weinanbaugebieten des Burgunds. Beaune und Dijon sind aber mit dem PKW gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Räder lassen sich regengeschützt unterstellen. Ältere oder gehbehinderte Menschen sollten bedenken, dass die Treppen in die oberen Stockwerke recht steil sind. Die Kommunikation mit Joanne hat gut und direkt funktioniert.

Alles Wunderbar

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende! Die Unterkunft war unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Jederzeit wieder!

Schönes Gite im Herzen von Burgund

Das Häuschen liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Ort fast direkt am canal de bourgone. Somit auch ideal für Fahrradtouren. Sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich, mit einem sehr hellem Wohnzimmer, guten Betten und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Schöner Urlaub in herrlicher Gegend

Schönes Haus im ruhigen Dorf Veuvey, unmittelbar am Canal de Bourgogne. Großzügig und gut eingerichtet. Zwei schöne Wohnzimmer, großer Esstisch, Kamin, zwei Schlafzimmer. Unkomplizierter Check-In und Out, nette Gastgeber! Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zu Fuß, mit dem Rad und mit dem Auto (Beaune, Dijon. Vezelay, Fontenay). Tipp: 1*Menue in der Abbaye de la Bussiere (3 km entfernt ...).

- gepflegtes Haus in einem sauberen und tadellosen Zustand - unkomplizierte und ausgesprochen gastfreundliche Vermieter - idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (z.B. Bouilland, Arcenant), Radtouren und zum Angeln (Carte de pêche im Gamm Vert/Pouilly-en-Auxois erhältlich). - Beaune und Dijon mit dem KFZ jeweils in ca. 30-40 Minuten erreichbar.

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem sehr gepflegten Haus. Der Ort Veuvey ist sehr schön am Canal du Bourgogne gelegen, und es gab viele Möglichkeiten mit unserem Hund Gassi zu gehen und mit Einwohnern in Kontakt zu kommen. Am Kanal gibt es einen Radweg, den man auch mit Kindern gut fahren kann. Dijon und Beaune sind nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Sogar ein Tagesausflug nach Paris ist machbar, da der TGV nur 1h30min von Dijon nach Paris braucht. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Ort um den Burgund kennen zu lernen.

Charmant und mit Liebe fürs Detail

Dieses Häuschen war ohne Übertreibung eine unserer schönsten und gepflegtesten Ferienunterkünfte. Das Haus ist geräumig, entspricht den Abbildungen genau, ist sehr sauber und mit einer großen Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wer französisches Flair sucht, wird es hier finden, zum Beispiel im Garten mit exzellentem Grill. Für uns perfekt waren die beiden Fahrräder, man kann direkt am Kanal losradeln. Die Strecke für Ausflüge nach Beaune und Dijon ist überschaubar, einen Supermarkt gibt es in 10 Autominuten Entfernung, direkt um die Ecke einen Baguette-Automaten. Kurz: Es war eine wunderbare Woche.

Urlaub in Veuvey sur Ouche

Das Haus ist wunderschön, es bietet viel Platz und ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge mit dem Auto in die umliegenden Städte und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Bourgogne. Da es noch recht kühl war im März, haben wir viele Abende vor dem Kamin verbracht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist im Nachbarort, ca 15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Zimmer und die Betten sind sehr gut, wir konnten uns wirklich erholen.

Wonderful time

The house does held what it promised! We had a wonderful relaxing time. If you are an outdoor person there is so much to do in the close vicinity but also with the Morvan just around the corner there is plenty of options for hiking, biking etc. Our hosts where just great and super friendly. We definitely will come back and can recommend this place to anybody who is looking for relaxed easy going days.

Joanne et Jon sont super accueillants et disponibles. Leur maison est juste magnifique, située dans un petit village tranquille tout en étant proche des sites à ne pas manquer. La maison était impeccable à notre arrivée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les lits faits, les essuies de toilette mis à disposition ainsi que les produits de première nécessité. Une semaine en famille en jullet

Le gite est superbe (comme sur les photos) et bien agréable, l'accueil de Jon et Joanne très sympathique. La météo pluvieuse ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de profiter des cours et terrasse adaptées aux différentes heures de la journée, ni des chemins de randonnée et à peine des vélos. Nous nous sommes rabattus sur les villes et leurs richesses patrimoniales. Nous le regrettons car la vallée est superbe et offre des paysages très bucoliques.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in schöner Umgehen. Als erste Mieter des Jahres, Corona-bedingt, fanden sich kleine Mängel, zB kaputter Toaster, die aber prompt beseitigt wurden. Da wollen wir nochmal hin!

Best property we’ve ever rented

From start to finish, our rental was perfect. We usually stay in apartments in city centers but decided to stay in veuves sur ouche to try something different. We are so glad we did. My wife, children, and I all loved the house and small village. While there wasn’t anything to in the village except go to the river, it’s ideally situated to visit lots of place around. But getting back to the house in the evenings was magical. Honestly, we watch a lot of tv at home. Not one of us turned on the tv the whole stay. We sat in front of the fire and played games, read, a d just relaxed the whole time. The house has three levels and might be bit hard to manage if you don’t deal with stairs. The upstairs stairs have a pretty steep pitch, but it wasn’t that difficult to manage. In short, we’re waiting for things to open again so we can go back.
