Clean, secure, nice area

This was a great place for us. The house and private pool were clean, well maintained, and had everything you would need. The security people at the gate were easy to work with and getting in and of the property was very smooth. It is an easy 20-30 minute drive to the Disney parks depending on twhich park n

We were given the wrong address by the owner’s agent in the message inbox. When we arrived, the property was already occupied by other guests who were leaving, which was extremely unsettling. It was honestly a bit scary, though we were fortunate this happened during the daytime. This situation could have been much worse and should never happen. Better communication and verification of the address are absolutely necessary.

Solterra Resort-adequate at best

The best thing about this property was the number of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 8. The common areas were also adequate; although, the furnishings were dirty and worn. Kitchen was clean. The pool pump needs attention, water was hazy after first day. Maintenance was called to fix electricity issue when power was lost to the porch and internet connection during our first evening. Thank goodness a/c was not affected since they don’t start working until after 10:00 am. Solterra Resort is located in a very congested area, close to I-4 which makes driving anywhere longer than you think. This includes theme parks, restaurants, grocery store, etc, even the resort itself takes time to get into due to placement of the entrance. Additional parking beyond the 2 spaces provided is also challenging; while there are additional spots around the resort, you are left on your own to find them. I was actually told I had to drive around until I found one. Solterra allows day guests to pay to use the pool and other amenities which limits access for resort guests. The pool was closed during our stay for maintenance which overloaded the lazy river. Thankfully we had a pool at our condo but that limited the use of the resort amenities which we paid for.
