Great House, very comfortable and spacious for our party of 6. Be aware they only offer 1 reserved spot for a 10 person home and street parking was not easy to find. The roads in the community are very tight. The house was a close walk to the north end of the square, but getting all the way to the beach with all your gear was a little challenging. If you don’t want to be hot and sweaty by the time you get there stay south of 30A. If your goal is to shop and eat out in Rosemary, this location is great. The indoor pool was right next door to the house which was great since it rained a lot while we were there; we used it quite a bit.

Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear Summer Cottage was comfortable and spacious for your group of six, and that the location made it easy to enjoy the shops, dining, and amenities. We appreciate your comments regarding parking and the walk to the beach. The community’s quaint roads and limited parking can present challenges during busy periods, and your insight is valuable for setting clear expectations. It is wonderful that the indoor Sky Pool next door was a highlight, especially given the rainy weather. We are grateful you chose to stay with us and would be pleased to welcome you back anytime.

Awesome Trip

This house made the trip awesome - the kids LOVED the bunk room, the outdoor shower was a HUGE plus, and the outdoor area was phenomenal for both adult and kids dinners, as well as hanging out with a glass of wine after the kids went to bed. It was beautifully decorated, yet somehow still kid friendly without a bunch of breakable decor. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location, great place

The house looks just like the pictures. Everything is nice and I would recommend. The only bad thing was the bbq grill, it hadn’t been cleaned in probably a year. The grate was just nasty. Other than that the house is perfect.

Kingston house

The house was very nice and well equipped. It was in a good location. I was pleasantly surprised how walkable and charming the area is ( close to everything) . Outdoor was very nice but cushions were soiled. Staircase needs nightlight. Only minus is most of cooking pans were older teflon type. A good paper map would be a plus to show pools etc. All in all a great stay that suited our three generations very well.

Very beautiful, well appointed Rosemary Beach home

We really enjoyed our time at Summer Cottage. The home was very beautiful, fresh and clean. Rooms were large and stylish and everything was nicely updated. The porches and outdoor living spaces were a super addition to the home. The few minor problems we had were quickly addressed by Brenden, the property manager. The outdoor water feature was broken, but would have made the patio space even more special. The only consistent problem we had was with the WiFi. About 5% of the time it was great - 35% of the time it was adequate, 60% of the time it just did not work. Since I needed WiFi for some lingering work projects, I was constantly going into town for WiFi at the coffee house or pizza place. Bottom line, leave your work at home and rent this place. If WiFI was necessary, I would not recommend Summer Cottage, even though it is a spectacular home.

Steve, thank you so much for staying with us! We understand the need for dependable WiFi and the owners have since taken steps to ensure that guests have a seamless WiFi experience. Rosemary has now installed fiber throughout the community and even have a community WiFi network that guests can access from the pools, beaches and other parts of the community. We hope to see you back in rosemary again soon!

Property was very good, super clean and good space for big group. Downsides were (1) limited at-home parking (one spot for a 4BR unit); and (2) only two beach/pool access cards for 4BR house that included 8 guests.

Family vacation

After many years, we were finally able to get all of the family together for a vacation and chose Rosemary Beach as the destination. The location, town, and beaches were great. We loved the opportunity to bike or walk the short distance to the beach. While the house had enough space, (i.e bedrooms and common areas) there were many issues during our stay. The kitchen faucet was clearly leaking into the closet and over the countertop. It had obviously been ongoing for a while, as the cabinet below had developed mold. We had to get approval from the owner, and the maintenance worker spent almost the entire day in the hose, which was inconvenient. In addition several toilet paper holders were loose/off of the wall, a cabinet in the kitchen was off its hinge, the grill was not working adequately, the smoke alarm battery started beeping in the middle of the night, and the floors were very dirty (vacuum cleaner didn't work.) While we did not let these issues mess up our trip and we still had a good time together, the stay did not meet the high expectations that were set. This rental was a hefty cost for my family and I, and we felt that the problems that presented themselves throughout the week could have been prevented had someone thoroughly checked the property as they are supposed to.
