Great location. Short drive to many attractions and restaurants. Small kitchen but adequate for our needs. It was fine for 3 people but a bit small for larger parties.

Thank you for allowing us to host your vacation getaway! We are so glad everyone enjoyed it, and hope to see you again soon!
Accommodations were as expected and plenty of room and very comfortable for 4 adults. Location was great... very close (walkable) to several beaches and downtown Hyannis. Everything else we wanted to do on the lower Cape was a short trip. We had a fun, relaxing and stress-free week.

I am glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay at Captain Gosnold. Thank you for sharing your time with us and relaxing on the Cape.
The property was as advertised. Very clean. Updated with modern appliances and bedding: everything in good working order.
Everyone was very comfortable staying in the VRBO and we would definitely rent again.

Thank you for staying with us. We are glad to hear you had a wonderful time
Overall things were good. I wish there had been some additional instructions regarding things like what to do about garbage, and the dirty linens. My only real complaint is that the kitchen layout is pretty poor.
Property was ok! Older than expected. Furnishings were worn but functional. Double beds in back bedroom were not very comfortable. Overpriced for time of year
The whole place needs updating, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms, but it was a perfectly fine place to stay in Hyannis. Very clean. Not a great place to cook meals, but who wants to cook on vacation (other than my family and I)? My family was not overly impressed with Hyannis or its beaches, so if you are new to the cape, I'd consider renting somewhere else. Proximity to the beaches (such as they are), Hyannis harbor and its restaurants was great as was the proximity to the ferry to the islands (our day trip to Martha's Vineyard was the highlight of our trip).

Thank you for staying. We believe Hyannis to be a great Cape Cod destination. It's not too far into the Cape, it has a great Main Street, numerous beaches, and plenty of things do to including the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. This property is close to all of these things.

It is old and needs improvements. The floor is about to cave in. There is no Iron!! There were ants all over the window air unit. We only slept and showered there which served its purpose. I would not stay again

Thank you for staying. I'm sad to hear that you would not stay again. We are confused about your comment regarding the floor. We inspected it and did not find any indications of it caving in. I'll contact you about that comment to get a better understanding. We've also sprayed around the window and exterior for ants and will be treating it on a routine basis. I'd love the opportunity to provide accommodations again and prove that we can provide a better experience to you. Please let me know if you have any additional feedback.

Needs updating
We loved the roominess, but many things were in need of attention. The bathrooms have been neglected. The tracks for the shower in both bathrooms were disgusting. The floor was pulled apart at the entrances to bathrooms. Walls in the bathroom were cracked. The couches in living room need replacing and were highly uncomfortable. Lighting was not good in living room. The refrigerator looked nice but extremely noisy.
The front steps have pulled away and could be dangerous. The cottage has cute decor, but money should be spent on all that I described.

Thank you for staying. We're working with the owner on updates to the property and we anticipate (but cannot guarantee) new sofas in the living room and new flooring. We'll also be performing a deep clean on the entire unit.
This was a wonderful trip!
The Captains Gosnold Village was a great place to stay.
It had everything you needed all in one place. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage and it fit our needs perfectly.
Even though there were many other cottages you would never know anyone else was there. Everyone was considerate of each other and followed the property rules.
There is a community pool that wasn’t open at the time of our stay but looks nice.
We loved that parking for the cottage was located right next to our place, no parking lots or things like that.
One of the other great things was the location. We were near everything you could want to do while in Cape Cod.
Beaches, mini golf, go karts, whale watching, ferry rides to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, the list goes on snd on.
That’s only a quarter of what is near by. You're a hop skip n a jump away from Main St where there are so many shops and restaurants.
Even a trip to the mall isn’t very far away.
Lastly, the communication was phenomenal, from the time we brooked our stay, up through time of check out they stayed in contact and were readily available if needed.
For the location, cost and comfort you would not go wrong with renting one of these cottages.
